It is my latest cultural research project! By randomly saying LOLWIN to semi-funny replies on the Halo 3 forum, I hypothesize that a temperary self-esteem boost will be present.

And once they read this, they will be a little worse off than before.

I've noticed multiple threads about weapons, gameplay, campaign, and several other variants of that. After looking through a bunch of a videos on youtube, it dawned on me, what are some actual physical features that would you like in Halo?

This can be anything from the Sniper Scope's Zoom to how big a grenade blows up, be creative.

Anyway, here are a few of my ideas:

1. I think that Bungie should attempt another stab at real time reflections, or at least meet halfway. I noticed that in the Pre-Halo (That was destined for Mac, but was never released as far as I know) there was a mirror in some part of one of the levels, in the control room of Halo. It kept track of the spartan, which is a reasonable halfway point.

2. First person driving. (Should be optional)

3. A vehicle should stop working when a key part is destroyed, and a weapon should only damage what it hits.

By this, I mean hitting a banshee in the wing would take it down, but it would not damage the driver. It would cause the banshee to skew off balance. Or, shooting a Warthog in the tire with a chaingun would damage the handling ability, but not harm the player or blow up the Warthog.

4. Up the scale. Some people complain about Spartans lasting too long in combat, perhaps if there were more powerful weapons, there would be no complaints. (Also, some of the better vehicles being available shouldn't hurt anything).

5. I would really love to be able to prone.

If you disagree with anything I say, please ignore me, I lack the amount of authority worthy of being proven wrong in the first place. This thread is for the community to submit their ideas. (Also, I am aware that there are wishlist threads already, but those are more focused on multiplayer as opposed to physical factors such as lighting, physics, textures, etc. ) [I also wrote all of this before I noticed and didn't want that time to go to waste.]

Post away.
