It'd be impossible for me to forgive Microsoft =-(
As you probably already know, Bungie lost the rights to Myth when Microsoft bought it out. Unfortunatly, the multiplayer in Myth ran off of a bungie.net server. So when Bungie lost the rights, so did Myth lose its' multiplayer. And beleive me, this was a devestating blow to many people. Myth was the game you would come home and play every night because as soon as you logged on you'd find yourself with people you knew very well, the feeling you would get if you walked into a room of old friends. This is why the Myth community is so great.
however when the bungie.net server went down, and later the playmyth.net server came up, few players seemed to return. Nowadays the number of players is small, about 80-100 whenever you log on. However, these people represent the finest of the Myth community, grizzled veterans that have seen it all. Unfortunatly a few of these people are complete asswipes. But still this community is as good as it gets.
However, no matter how brilliant the community still is, I lost a lot of good friends when the Bungie.net server went down. I doubt I could forgive microsoft for that. Since then I've made some better friends, but have seen even more leave. Some leave with a big going away speech, a retiring-from-myth night where everyone plays all night long. Some just dissepear, one day you'll be on and be like..."Wait a minute. Where the hell is Rings I haven't seen him in ages".
-blam!- YOU MICROSOFT =-(
