Here is my entire idea, prepare for a long page, or if you want to view it on a separate page go here:

I give most of the credit for this idea from ujjval16's idea and thread. You can find it here:

My idea is more of an add on of his idea.
Anyway, the game starts with the "perfect map" which has every weapon, vehicle, and...just everything, including Armour Abilities, even though you can start with them. I'll explain more about this perfect map further down.
This game mode starts with the players dropping from low orbit in drop pods similar to the start of campaign in Halo 3 ODST, you can look around an see your teammates/enemies in their drop pods as well, then as you drop past a covenant carrier, you realise that some elites are joining the battle as well, (optional). Your dropping onto the planet, with this amazing scenery before you thanks to our pals at Bungie.
You hit the ground hard, the door pops open, and you've landed with your team on one side of the map, and the other team on the other side. You start with the default weapon, the Assault Rifle, but both teams start with 1,000 points for each player, oh yea, campaign scoring, FFA though, so each player has separate scores, to get vehicles, weapons, and equipment, you must earn points to buy them, now when you buy them, they don't come instantly, they'll come once every minute or two.
Everything comes from pelican drops, pelicans will fly in and deliver your "mail". Everytime you buy something, it deducts from your points, duh. Each time you get something, you will have your own separate things, with your own marker, only you can get it, but it can be switched off. But the enemy team can get your stuff!
All the enemy team needs to do is get over to your pelican LZ, kill everyone on your team, and capture the "hill" which in this case is the pelican, then everything is up for grabs. The original team can still get their stuff, but now everyone can grab the stuff.
AA's will be inside your base, instant respawn, and you ditch your old ability to get it, duh again. I don't think you should buy AA's, just get 'em on the map or from your base.
Vehicles, when they drop in, are up for grabs for anyone, but if you're present when it drops, then you get first dibs on which seat you get, maybe, that should be optional, along with the weapons. There is a limit to the amount of vehicles you can drop in at the same time, it should be 2-3, for air vehicles, the driver that brought it there (if there wasn't enough space on the pelican), gets "beamed" up, star trek style, or he waits for the next ship to come in, then leaves in it.
Land vehicles, are dropped from 15-20 feet up, tanks are dropped first, then the pelican flies over a couple feet and drops the light vehicle, sorry, one tank at a time, unless you steal the enemy's tank, or still have one, only one heavy order at a time.
Back to weapons, they're dropped from about 30 feet up, in drop pods, scratch the pelican landing thing, the enemy team can still capture your weapons, but there needs to be at least 2 members of that team to capture them. Limit 15 weapons at a time, and only 5 power weapons, there will be weapons cases as well, like those in Halo 3, say, 3 AR's and 2 DMR's, plus one power weapon. For those weapons that wont fit, they'll have weapon holders from Halo 3 again, or not, they could just be thrown from the ship. Landing oh, so conveniently next to the pile of weapons. If you don't pick them up, after 30 seconds, they'll be placed inside or on top your base, grenade dispenser inside the base.
Prices! some of these will be halo 3 weapons because I'm not sure if they'll be in Reach, each has a *. Each weapon has full ammo.

You probably just saw the pelican and were either really confused or really exited. Here's my idea...
Once a player gets 5,000 points they can get a pelican for use, once every 5-10 minutes. Then ONE player grabs a pelican and flies to an area, if this was Forge World, which I really hope it could be, it would be the island or the coliseum. Then the player would land in an area that I would like to call, the Armory. It has every combat weapon/vehicle/equipment item besides a pelican. The player can then land the pelican, get out and browse, and load up about twice as many items as they could in a normal drop, including or excluding tanks.
They would walk up to items and press 'X' or 'RB' to load those items on the pelican, all this time players would be talking to him/her on what to get, now remember, BOTH teams can do this, but only two players can be at The Armory at a time, in this "Armory Zone" the players can not hurt each other, OR ASSASINATE each other even though they are opponents. Good thing there's an option for that, huh? Players can not pick up any items for personal use at the Armory either.
The player, would then get back into their fully loaded pelican, fly back to the battlefield, drop their load, don't worry, they can only drop it on land, to prevent wet ammunition and loss of, well, everything. Then the player would jump out of the pelican, and the marine in the passenger seat would fly away. The players may only use this feature every 5-10 minutes.
Then their team would snatch what they wanted, and believe me, there would be plenty. And all the left overs, would be loaded into the teams personal Armory, aka the base. Which only their team could get into, actually, here's an idea, the teams Armory has a teleporter in the base which only lets their team through, which takes them to their armory.
Now immediately after the drop, the enemy team can still take the goodies! however this time they need all of the members of their team there for a straight minute, eh, maybe 30 seconds...then its FFA snatching, might I add that this is pretty much impossible unless the team has snipers picking off players before they get to them. Then again, players could just fire one rocket into the tiny hill, which the enemy team will find quite hard to dodge, since they can't leave the hill without resetting the timer, oh yea, no AA's inside this area.
Now finally, the "Perfect Map."
It has all weapons, vehicles, and equipment spread out through the map, which I've always imagined, as Forge World, in the Canyon, of course, the bases don't have to be Blood Gulch....they can be anything from a castle to a rock. There are health packs spread throughout the place, along with inside the base and all three Armories. The area I find most fit for this game type, is The Canyon, and The Island, but you can't go anywhere else, or, you'll get, "10 seconds to comply."
I always kind of thought of this game to be a little smaller, around 8 people per team, but I think it'll be just fine with 10 per team....20, I'd need to do some editing.
Tell me if I missed anything, you need some clarification, or just about some spelling errors, let me know, feel free to add some ideas. You've deserved it, if you've read through this whole thing, I took up an excess of 8,000 characters, out of 10,000....I am so, VERY SORRY for this long article.
dude the most greatest idea yet but ive said the same thing a bunch of times
