I give most of the credit for this idea from ujjval16's idea along with the ideas of Hawkeye4488 and thread. Ujjval16's thread is located here:

What I am about to post is an edited version of Hawkeye4488's re-vamped version of Ujjval16's original post. This will get slightly confusing at times, but bear with me, because if you are able to understand it, it makes perfect sense and would be a blast.
There will be a perfect map for this gametype which would hopefully be a Dedicated server, because without a dedicated server, there would be too much lag.
Now, hopefully, this would be a 16v16 UNSCv Covenant match.
This was also just an idea that I thought of after somebody mentioned squads and objectives..
Okay, each team was divided into 4 Squads of 4. One squad from each team would compete with another squad of the other team in 1 of 4 Game variants. This is a little confusing, because everyone is playing the same game, but each squad has a different objective. One game would be King of the Hill, another would be Assault, one more would be Capture the Flag, and the last would be regular old Team Slayer. After every 8 minutes, the squads would switch their game type, along with their opponents. This get's really confusing unfortunately, but each squad keeps their points for the whole 32 minute game, usin them to buy weapons and vehicles(If you use the points, you lose them, so make sure that you don't use too many of them, or your team will lose)[I'll mention the buying later]But as far as Team Slayer goes, you get 10 points(or however many they make it) per kill, and for killstreaks such as Double Kill, Triple Kill, Overkill, etc. you would get a bonus.(for vehicles, you get more depending on size. Ghost/Mongoose=15, Chopper/Hog=20, Wraith/Tank=30, etc.). Easy enough. Then, at the end of the 32 minutes, all squads add up their points(the points they used to buy weapons and vehicles with are already deducted) and whoever has the most points, wins.
This game mode starts with the UNSC players dropping from low orbit in drop pods similar to the start of campaign in Halo 3 ODST, while the Covenant is beamed down from their Covenant Cruiser. You can look around an see your teammates/enemies as you descend to this perfect map. Your dropping onto the planet, with this amazing scenery before you thanks to our pals at Bungie.
Now, on your way down, there could be two options(of course, it is whatever Bungie would decide).
Option 1: Bungie could make it so that you spawn in a specific area with your team.
Option 2: They could also make it so that as you descend towards Reach, you are able to "control" your drop pod so you can plan strategic manuevers against your enemy. The Covenant would just choose where to spawn because you can't really control a beam of light.
On this map, you will have every single weapon(most likely several of each weapon), and every single vehicle. Now, of course everyone will probably go for the sniper, shotgun, laser, etc., but what if you were able to call in for more weapons or vehicles? You will press up on the D-Pad to open a circle menu from which you will be able to "order" weapons and vehicles. Once you order your select items, a Pelican/Phantom will come down and deliver your "mail." Again, there would be two options for this and it would be whatever Bungie decided...IF they decided to make this amazingly awesome gametype:
1: After you order your weapons, you must wait 30 seconds 1 minute for them to arrive.
2: Or, every 5 minutes, ALL of the items your team ordered would come down at once.
There has been speculation as to whether or not this should be done, BUT: What if once the Pelican/Phantom dropped off your stuff, you couldn't take it for 30 seconds. The Pelican/Phantom would turn into a Hill for a 30 second "King of the Hill" match. Whichever team wins the match, gets the weapons. If "you" called down your weapons, you would be able to get your weapons, and nobody else's. Now, of course, players can't order 30 Snipers or Lasers at once, so there would be somewhat of a limit as to how many weapons you could order at once.
Land vehicles, are dropped from 15-20 feet up, tanks are dropped first, then the pelican flies over a couple feet and drops the light vehicle, sorry, one tank at a time, unless you steal the enemy's tank, or still have one, only one heavy order at a time.
Prices! some of these will be halo 3 weapons because I'm not sure if they'll be in Reach, each has a *. Each weapon has full ammo.
