i like the whole basic idea sounds like it would be hell of fun to play , although you did lose me at buying weapons eh reminded me of my days back playing roblox with laggy servers lol , plus it dosent have a halo reach however i would love like secret caches that maybe you have to compete over with the covenant ? and perhaps when you get the bomb it woudnt be so easy to detonate it at the other teams base , like make it like generator defense mode from the beta at that point , but like i agree with almost everything you said , oh one more thing why stop at 20 vrs 20? =p be wicked to bumb it up to 25 or even 30 if id be willing to be so risky xD , but alas that might be to much for bungie to handle its a shame they wont continue halo themselves after reach maybe they could of made some cool new mappack or something
alright, from what I could undestand...here's what Q&A's I could pick out
1. I skipped by the secret caches because for now, we're talking about a normal game, and caches don't sound too appealing to me at the moment, however I can see it happening, but as soon as the first day is over, the caches are no longer a secret, because everyone knows whre they are
2. For the bomb, Generator Defense....bla bla bla...here's the order of things.....First you drop into the game, which is big team slayer (on steroids)....then occasionally its one sided KotH when the pelican drops come in, but the hills disappear as soon as someone claims their own stuff, at least only that section of the drop. then eventually, after a certain amount of points s reached, a team gets a bomb, which blows through the front of the enemy base....where they grab the "Core" kinda ike in Invasion....and once they get it to their own base they then have the codes to get past the lower orbit defense systems
Space battle time, the winning team must get into the enemy base and destroy the enemy's systems (Generator Defense) such as shields, life support, and engines....as the losing team is defending....there is a time limit for each phase...so don't worry, then after the ship enter the "Critical Failure" state, it starts shaking violently, at this point victory is inevitable, and impossible to reverse. The team about to win has to make it out of the ship alive for extra points which in turn will earn them extra credits, not a lot though, don't worry, each team gets a junkload of credits for just playing the whole game
but the winning team must make it out, by the way, everyone now only has one life, so now its the defending teams turn for the offensive, they must kill the rest of the enemy team before they all make it out, if even one makes it out its considered a total victory, so this part is pretty much infection, without real zombies. and thats how the game ends, of course, I have many different scenarios in mind, but this is just one....
perhaps there is more than just the normal three endings? (victory, loss, draw)
3. the reason we stop at 20 v 20 is because asking for more would rally be, asking for too much, 20 vs 20 is actually at the tips of reality, if even on the chart...plus we feel that any more would be too hectic, which IS possible
