love the idea, Points system is cool, but... well... not halo. However, calling drops in shounds good. Also in the ship there could be 2 or 4 of every weapon save power weapons (1 of them) and in the bases 1 of every vehical. I agree with the fact that 30 second weapon drops is a bit too long, but otherwise great idea. Halo needs some huge battles, but also needs to find a way to reduce lag. I think that the dropping into battle is a great idea, but maybe there should be a cannon at each of the bases that can shoot very slowly but accurately to try and eliminate the spartans dropping in. Also, you should be able to control where you land while dropping to a certainextent. Not so you can drop on the enemy's base, but so you can drop anywhere, say, within half of the map. That way, if the other team is attacking, than you can drop into wherever they need backup. Also, it shouldnt be timed, or timed to 30, 45 minutes or so. Otherwise it will be too hard to actually win within the limit. Finally, there needs to be some way people can't camp from the cruiser. One method could be the kill method, or the lengthy respawn. But another could be to be forcing people to go into a HEV pod every minute or so. I'm not sure how this would be done but just haveing the campers die will not work. Say a team is 15 points behind. Time is running out. With 40, 50 people getting 15 kills isn't hard. If a team camps in their base. They will not die fast enough to allow the other team to win/tie. This may be hard on the 360, And it may be too late to develope for reach. but this would be the epitome of epic.
EDIT: Perfect way to stop ship campers, have people spawn in their pods, while in their pods in a menu comes up to select 2 weapons. Power wewapons would be available but only a few at a time. After 45 seconds you would be kicked out of the menu and automatically start your drop.
