It's been said that you're not going to fight any elites in ODST but I was wondering if there was any news that you would fight with them, like in Halo 3's campaign. If so wouldn't it not make sense? At the moment Master Chief leaves Earth, ODST starts, the elites are still enemies of the humans. Somewhere between the end of Halo 2 and the beginning of 3, Sergeant Johnson, The Arbiter, and Miranda Keyes came back to Earth and forged an alliance. I wonder how this is going to manifest itself in the game.

I thought Bungie said there were no Elites at all in the game.

Yep all of them went to Delta Halo and any left in New Mombasa were wiped out by the Slipspace Rupture.

Which is kinda stupid if a crapload of Marines and ODSTs survived. There were already Marines on the surface. Oh well, I guess the Elites thought, "Big explosion? Wait a second...YES! TO THE GREAT JOURNEY WOO HOO!"

They really should have an unlockable clip or fan-made video for comedic purposes where the remaining Elites, who are coincedentally mentally challenged, and there Grunt squads run into the explosion like Lemmings and screaming "WOO HOO! YAY! GREAT JOURNEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYY! YE.." This would be pretty funny but it would be really dark...unless done Rooster Teeth style.

According to the Prophet of Truth in Halo 3, the Elites didnt believe in the great journey.

They believed, but they weren't completely brainwashed by it like Brutes. The Elites had their doubts. Too bad they didn't realize the Prophets screwed up when they realized they were killing the Forunner's descendants and tried to cover it up earlier.

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

I can't believe that they won't even put some bodies here and there. It seems so simple yet great athmosphere addition. Elites are Halo.

Then again, someone at Bungie clearly hates Elites because they were so rare, weak and stupid in Halo3 campaign.

All allies are rare, weak and stupid. It makes the game harder.
