But they can still have new vehicles in the engine. A vulture can be considered new, since it never appeared in any FPS games. I think that's what we mean.

And your logic is pointless. The spectre appeared then dissappeaed.

There should be no reason for certain weapons not to exist simply because of the "time period"

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

The BR existed during halo CE, but we never saw it until halo 2. Who are you to say that there are no weapons or vehicles that were simply never seen in any of the games?
Because this game happens within days of THE FIRST HALO
That doesn't answer my question. There could be, say, a Gauss rifle that was used on reach, but the PoA didn't stock it, and the Chief never got his hands on one.
If the weapon existed he would have gotten one at some point in the trilogy. I understand what you mean, but its highly unlikely. Plus they would have had to mention it in the halo books at some point.
I understand your reasoning, but come 2010 don't say we didn't tell you.
You guys shouldn't expect anything new so when 2010 comes don't say i didn't tell you.

Yes there should be, if the weapon is still in test phases during Reach

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Another thing I just thought of, is that the timeline has been tweaked rather easily for the sake of a novel or game in the past, and as such I wouldn't be too surprised if they took liberties with it again. Considering Halo Wars and Contact Harvest kind of set the table for the inclusion of newer things in an older setting, I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw things from the newer Halo games in Reach.

I just hope they show some restraint and keep it relevant to the game, that's all I ask. Inclusion for the sake of inclusion is foolish.

It is easy to be male
it is another thing to be a man.

I think everyone is confused as to what i mean. I am fine with things like helmet cams and stuff that's been in any HALO game, but you can't just go and create your own Halo fantasy world.

I think i see what you mean. You are ok with any little changes/new things but any major things that fans suggest that are implausible you get a little annoyed about.

But if you forget Halo Wars was made by a different company.

Yes, things like an alien flamethrower.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME GROUP INVITATIONS

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

It would not go against canon. Ever heard of the term "well, it wasn't in the immediate vicinity, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist somewhere else!" because that definitely applies here. Just because we saw no Spartan Lasers, Brutes, Choppers, etc. in Halo 1 is that they weren't brought from Reach, or the Chief just never ran into them.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

You think what you want, and I'll think what I want. Sound like a plan? Great! :)

O I am quite aware of that, but Halo Wars is considered canon. Meaning everything that was seen in Halo Wars is fair game, even though much of it is unlikely (super/uber units, etc).

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

The OP is trying to say they won't go into these forums, and pick up a weapon someone created. Which I think, he is wrong about that. Bungie very well could go into one of the "Create a weapon thread" and look at the ideas, consider them, and maybe even put them into the game.

The OP argues, "That isn't canon!",but I would have to disagree. Bungie can make up canon as they go.
