My new B.net account is Grizzled Ancient. If you see him, its me.

No, The whole challenge of the game is weapon control. the fun in it is getting the good weapons and totaly kicking ass. it wouldnt be fun, everybody would pick a rocket class get 2 kills die, get 2 kills, die. and then ur on a map for a sniper, everybody has one, its not fun. its stupid.

(-_-) Bored Face

A class system could work stop being ignorant. If it's this class system like this one though that would be questionable. A class system like COD's I don't think would work. A class system could work in Halo it just has to be balanced with current features and gameplay.

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬

"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence."

...

So you're telling me that any Spartan that wishes to take up the art of stealth can turn invisible but cannot pick up other peoples weapons?

They're Spartans, not retards...

I'd go into more detail and slowly pull your poorly thought-out idea apart, but I think that'll do.

And no, I'm not hating on it because there's a similar system in CoD. People who think like that should get their brains washed ¬_¬

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

Quote from Frank O'Connor:

"The core value in Halo 2 when comparing it to Halo, is that you should pick it up, and you should know what to do and it should feel like Halo. Everytime you added something, we had to play around with that until that feels like a natural part of Halo. Until jumping on a Ghost and knocking the pilot out feels like Halo and feels logical and natural, and we hope we've done that."

That quote was taken from this video: Video

Quote from Max Hoberman:

"A lot of what we tried to make different about Halo 2, a lot of the focus was really not on making the gameplay different. The gameplay in Halo 1 was a lot of fun, we wanted to expand on that gameplay."

Taken from the same video, the link is above.

If you take those 2 quotes, you can see from Halo 1, and Halo 2, that they were applied also to Halo 3. From that we also see it in ODST. Nothing is dramatically changed in the gameplay for Halo 3: ODST.

I believe the same principles will apply to Halo: Reach.

"Things are never as they seem..."

I disagree. The board and logo image with all of the Spartans screams class based to me, but that's just a guess. I highly doubt that people will come back for the same game four times in a row.

Nope, not a good idea. It'll be just like BFBC. The way it is is fine.

Beast Mode On - an uprising group that you should check out.

Don't feed the trolls.

Death by Bungie.

There's no chance that they will not use the classic Halo setup, but it's not a terrible idea.

Don't you think experimentation would be good for thier new IP? Why wouldn't they stick to what they know, and what they have basically perfected?
