Hey guess what!? I play CoD more than Halo, but I'm not an annoying fanboy. I love CoD more, but I like how involved the Halo Community is...

Then why would be looking for them? It seems pointless, to flashback just to see what they did, and just kill them.

  • 08.13.2009 6:08 PM PDT

simple hes looking for them to kill them and he got "knocked unconcsious" and is going to kill them. kinda like halloween with less gore and no michael myers

I think that the Rookie follows the clues to the squad's last stand, finds out they all died. Then he finds one of the squad members, Buck most likely.

Haha well played, but technically its the Covies fault how he got knocked out.

you never know they could just be showing you that and making you belive thats what happend and then they go back and show you how they did it. like saw (sorry for the movie references)

It's highly unlikely The Rookie will betray his squad.

He's an ODST for pete's sake.

  • 08.13.2009 6:20 PM PDT

so if you read the books it says it takes a special kind of crazy to join the odsts. also it says he dosnt talk much and he might be suffering from ptsd. he could pull a rambo and just go around killing everyone

Rookie is the main character. No betrayal. Dare maybe but rookie no!

  • 08.14.2009 10:00 AM PDT

you never know. he could have just said he was knocked out and while your going thru the flashbacks some " mysterious" things could happen to his squad. ie buck gets "accidently" shot in the foot. the "accidently" go the wrong way after following the rookies advice.

or you can go extremist and say the superintednt and rookie are working together agaisnt the squad

Now what does the Rookie gain betraying his squad? It`s highly unlikely.

Yeah and the worst if they did that. But seriously the rookie is the main character the main character never betrays anyone it's always the leader or the closest to the leader who would betray anyone.

  • 08.14.2009 10:06 AM PDT

if you read the halo book the flood. one of captain keyes's officers betrays their squad to the covenant. but they kill her after they get keyes

  • 08.14.2009 10:08 AM PDT

One Shot, One Kill, Whats The Deal.
Highest Bungie Rank:Honorable Member.

It would be kinda cool the rookie kills his squad and he was working undercover for the covenate. or else a skinny elite

Your saying the rookie is a psychopathic maniac who would kill thousands of covenant, risk his life over and over to find his teammates, just to kill them? Why would they let a mentally unstable person in the marines?

  • 08.14.2009 10:18 AM PDT

-I know what you're thinking, and it's crazy.
-But... what if monkeys really could fly?

You're right. It IS farfetched.

  • 08.14.2009 10:21 AM PDT

thats the point its so crazy no one would believe it. which would give the rookie the perfect oprotunity to do that. hey hey could pull a band of brothers and think for a minute they looked like krauts (in this case grunts or something) and kill em all

Bungie already proved that it wasn't the rookie who betrayed his squad, it was the SEARCH BAR.

  • 08.14.2009 10:25 AM PDT

............ dude there are more people talking on this than on the other ones

  • 08.14.2009 10:29 AM PDT
