Halo 2, and 3's grenades/rockets are wimpy. Remember the little nukes in Halo CE. Those were the days... Bungie bring them back please! I don't understand why you made the blast radius so small in the last games! Fix this in REACH!

Maybe they're wimpy because they're littered everywhere across the map? In CE, grenades were scarce.

well over the years, weapons and grenades dont get less powerful, you know what im saying, the military never downgrades

actually i dont know what your saying....the explosion radius of grenades/ rockets HAS down graded alot the past 2 games.

Because Halo CE was the best evar and you know it.

Actually, because of changes in movement, jumping, health, variety in weapons and grenades, and amount of these weapons is one of the main reasons for the damage "downgrade" in these explosions. Oh, wait. There is no downgrade if you really look at it.

In fact, the difference in explosions is purely cosmetic. Grenades and rocket explosions still pack quite a punch, the similarities between splash damage radius' are pretty close, and the differences in these splash areas are probably somewhere around a quarter to a half of a foot larger/smaller. Don't tell me that this half foot makes all the difference either.

Besides, the look of the explosions fits the style and palletization of the particle effects in the games - it gives the game a clean and consistent look.. The amount of damage that these weapons do is good for the gameplay as well. Rocket launchers aren't meant to be nukes - powerful, but not uber powerful.
