I remember when I bought the halo 3 Recon magazine and it said it will cost 40$ like Banjo Kooze. Then when they changed the game title to halo 3 Recon to halo 3 ODST they chaged the price to 60$. I was upset when I found out. :(. Did they change the price because halo 3 made 170 million today? Or just for the heck of it? I can buy halo 3 ODST when it was 40$ when not when it's 60$... NO WAY! So my question is why did they change the price of the game?
Just to put a word in Halo 3 ODST a full game and microsoft made full games worth $60

"Things are never as they seem..."

Bungie didn't change the price, as I recall. It was Microsoft, who said the full scope of the project hadn't been "realized" yet.

If you had a subscription to Game Informer, you would know when they talked about the forty dollar price. It was in the December 2008 ODST cover story, where they told you about the mythic pack maps before they came out (This was before we knew that Sandbox was part of the pack). The page after or before (I'm just trying to remember off the top of my head) there was this little section where it said that Game Informer dudes had a talk with Bungie dudes about the ODST pricing.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Because it is now bug enough to be considered a full game.

Go Rams and Missouri!

It was going to be $40. However, after they said that, they added Firefight and the campaign grew to a size that rivaled that of the first 2 Halo games (revealed on IGN yesterday with an interview). The $40 would come with the 3-5 hour campaign, and then disc 2. The 2 disc thing was always planned.

Oh, and Microsoft does the pricing, Bungie just made an estimate of $40.

Bungie didn't change the price, microsoft did. They have this thing where just about every game must be 60 bucks. So when they changed the price, bungie decided to give us the reach beta and the halo 3 multiplayer on disc 2

O.O bungie replace stupid pricing with more fun gaming?
