Sending me a group invite or some kind of other pointless, time wasting advert gets you blocked. Don't bother wasting your time. kthnxbai

For years I have only played one aspect of Halo: Combat Evolved, the campaign. However, I constantly hear people praising the multiplayer for Halo 1, but i've never had the chance experience it myself. I just have a question that most likely can't be answered unless I ask people, so here I go:

Game Servers

I am aware that Halo PC does not have Matchmaking, and that you have a server list from which to choose from. I have Halo 2 for Vista so i'm familiar with the process of finding and joining a game.

However I have some questions regarding game types. Every time I join a game in Halo 2 for the PC I get something like Multi Flag on Headlong where everyone spawns with a Shotgun and Rockets, or Multi Flag on Coagulation where everyone has a Sword.

I appreciate the "social" aspect of these game types, but some times I like to play something a little more serious but can never find the games for them. What kind of game types can I expect to play on Halo for the PC?

Windows Vista

Every time I look up this product on an online store, I notice that it only lists support for "Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP". Does the game still run fine on Vista? I've played the demo without any problems, but I just want to make sure just so that I don't go wasting £10.

Something smells fishy...

I play Halo 1 PC on Windows Vista all the time. I have a 64 bit operating system by ASUS. I enjoy playing.

There are all different gametypes being played... There is a slight problem with people using aimbots but that may only be on the custom edition so somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. It's still worth getting even for the campaign, assualt on the control room never gets old. =D It works fine on my vista 32bit laptop so you shouldn't have problems... You could always host a game if you want a more serious gametype...

Daodan Latency at 65%

The Halo aimbot was originally created as an adjuster for a LoZ halo custom edition map. It was modified and released by a member of the modding community and was then abused. It is for Halo PC, and I think CE. Halo for Mac has no aimbot.
