If you read this, you've wasted a few seconds of your life.

I have a question:
When the Rookie finds a clue, he'll imagine what happend. Here's my question:
Can he really imagine all the stuff that happened?
What I'm saying, it would take a lot of imagination to imaginate what happened in the 6 ours he was unconsious.
What could be possible is that the SI shows him what happened.

What do you guys think?
(sorry for the bad Englisch, im Dutcht, not the ODST but the nationality)

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Umm, he dosent remember that for sure, but something happens....

Is he imagining it? Or will he remain totally unaware of what happened? Maybe the player gets to see it, but the Rookie doesn't? Or while we're doing out little flashback the Rookie looks around and finds clues that tell him what happened.

He's not imagining. He find the item, sees the bridge, and probably thinks "Maybe Mickey was here and they blew the bridge." Thats all. They use the clue as a story telling device to show you a flashback, and give you the story. The rookie doesn't know very much.

i know that the events really happened but how would the rookie progress trough the story without knowing a thing.

It's showing you what actually happened, not what The Rookie is imagining.

Not really. The SI shows him the clues, and he get ideas about what happened. I'm sure about 1/2, or 3/4 way through the game he will find a clue and will have an epiphany about where his squad is.

Yeah, I gues that could be true.

i believe he's reliving it... like some sort of vision that comes to him...

it doesn't need to make sense as to how he knows what happened... it's just an interesting story mechanic.
