Subject: Custom Games Not a Big Thing Anymore?

I was thinking about the whole two disc thing and was wondering if custom games was gonna be a big thing with everybody playing firefight and the new campaign. You know how lazy people on xbox live can be...

My troll sense is tingling.

I play custom games WAY more than say matchmaking. I'd still play it.

Dont even bother trying to send a invitation to your Clan/ Group/ Whatever your trying to offer me. Its a waste of your time and i will not accept.

yeah, countless hours of forging go unrewarded.
too bad there isnt a custom game matchmaking, cause i would really enjoy a good custom game once in a while, but there arent enough people willing to play customs anymore.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I don't play custom games often. Once ODST is released, I don't think I'll be playing anything else for quite some time.

Once ODST comes out, custom games will be limited to those who are members of custom game groups if enough people buy it. It's a sad reality that I do not look forward to.

You're looking at it the wrong way.

People in Halo generally make friends with like-minded people. Meaning, if you love custom games, there are other people out there who do. You just need to find them.

Take the competetive crowd for example. They love MLG and other ranked playlists. They make friends with people who are the same. Their friends who are also the same join in on the games, too.

Just make some custom game friends.

I don't play a lot of custom games anymore because I am trying to get a higher rank in matchmaking. Sure, I haven't played a lot of custom or had my account very long, but a good, fun custom games would be good every once a while. But I don't have very many friends on Xbox Live, or many guests that are good and bad at every games that you can play on the Xbox. Anyway, I would probably play the campaign and firefight a lot considering what I saw on G4 and the trailers for ODST.

Sorry, I had improper phrasing there.

What I meant to say was that most of the people who would still be playing custom games would probably be in a custom games group. The reason being that it will be harder to come across somebody who just wants to play some customs rather than: Halo 3 campaign, Halo 3: ODST campaign, Firefight, or matchmaking with all map packs.
