Its seem lately that a lot of people want some sort of a huge slayer game in a huge map unlike what has ever been in halo multiplayer.

but does anyone have any ideas for a new gametype on the normal maps?

I was thinking of a game type kind of like territories in which there would only be one territory and once a team caps it, they gain a point and it moves to another position and so on.

I'd like to see a "Queen of the Knoll" style of King of the Hill from Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

Essentially it was King of the Hill, but instead of a static hill that teleports across the map after timelimits, the hill was Dynamic and Alive.

It would start at a spot that was easy to reach for all players, and then would slowly move around the map, stopping at certain key areas.

For example, if we were to play such a variant on the Pit, the hill might start off in the camo hallways. As soon as someone stayed in the hill for ten seconds, it would slowly start moving through the air out one of the sides of the hallway, turn turn towards, the plasma rifles, then float through mid air over to the top of the sniper tower, stop for a minute, then continue on somewhere else. By making it ghost through walls or across gaps that can't be jumped, it ensures a lot of madness. Also instead of rushing in through the same doorways only to get killed by the defenders of the hill, an attacking team could just ambush the people in the hill as they travel around with it.

I dunno, it could be a fun variant.
