Subject: Should the Rocket Launcher Home?

I personally think it should, it's not all that hard to dodge a homed rocket in a banshee. Plus it'll make the rocket more dangerous and deadly.

Homing rockets were made redundant in Halo by the missile pod and Spartan Laser. Seeing as they will be on ODST (the Laser is for sure, maybe not the pod), there is no need to have homing rockets.

No, you must be mistaken, you see, I'm correct and you're wrong. Simply put, if I'm arguing with you it's because you're so dumb I couldn't let you live another day without you realizing how retarded you really are... I wish I had a girlfriend =/

The missile pod will probably be included, but I doubt that you will be able to rip it off the stand and walk with it. Same thing with gun turrets.

Actually I think I remember that you can rip turrets off their stand AND even mount them again. I'm not 100% sure about it though, I guess we will find out next month.

I say take out the Splaser and put in the H2 Rockets, gives us vehicle lovers some of a chance.

You say that now, but what if you were the one being chased down?

Besides, no competitive multiplayer on ODST means you have no need to be worried about Rockets.

Definitive answers: Turrets are operated just like in Halo 3, keep 'em on, or rip 'em off, nothing new. Missile pods are definitely in FireFight, but not on their stands, they may be in campaign, though.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

I have an easier time against the laser than I had against homing rockets...

When i'm being chased by a rocket, it is fun! Instead, we have that damn Laser that kills you instantly, there is no frantic chase that makes the game have more emotion. Not really a big deal though.

Yes, there should be. Why take away a really cool feature on a weapon and make another one for the same purpose? Pointless, if you ask me.

That's not really true. If that was the case, we wouldn't have seen homing rockets in Halo 2. And the Missile Launcher has homing rockets, it's just a waste of a weapon slot, because it basically did the same thing as the Rocket Launcher in Halo 2 did.

Spartans are from Venus and Elites are from Uranus

I guess it would be a nicish throw back, but I'm not really going to care much either way.

  • 08.15.2009 9:38 AM PDT

Well if Rockets homed there would really be no point for the missile pod, disabling the home merely creates more oppurtunity for new weapons... hence the missile pod.

I DISLIKE THE MISSLE POD........... BRING BACK HOMING ROCKETS
