This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Because ODST is open world with missions 'hubs'(?). Do you think they will add, or would you like to see a couple of mini missions that involve, say, the superindendent or a civilian asking you to search the city for an item.

It would be cool, but it doen't seem likely :(

  • 08.15.2009 8:56 AM PDT

It'd likely be the SI asking you to save the Civilians or the Civilians going WABLEOFLY SAVE MEH!!!!!

TBH If the SI really wants a item he can just send a garbage truck after it.

Hey guess what!? I play CoD more than Halo, but I'm not an annoying fanboy. I love CoD more, but I like how involved the Halo Community is...

I only played the demo - can't really remeber but I guess so. Most open world games have side mission like the random strangers you'd meet in GTA IV, something like that.

...Does anyone really read these?

You mean like you are in the night time city and you come across a group of civilians being attacked by brutes? You save them and they follow you? (Hopefully not crappy AI for them though: CIVILIAN: CHARGE!!!!11!1!
ROOKIE: NO! We are supposed to avoid that chieftain *facepalm*)
Or maybe they like sort of lead you through short cuts in alleyways in the city to flashback items or mini armories for weapons and ammo? That would be AWESOME!

It would be fun but Bungie already made the game. :(

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

I don't think that ODSTs can understand the crazy sign language of the floating gasbags.

There are 3 Human types. ODSTs, Marines, and NMPD officers. This is confirmed by Bungie and we'll probably see most of the NMPD at their HQ. This, along with 5 other locations, was shown in both the stage demo and the ViDoc.

Any civilians who didn't leave in the evac were killed in the slipspace rupture. NMPD came to help the UNSC afterwards, most likely.

Where did the NMPD Come FROM in your example.

If their not in NMPD until after the Slipspace rupture I don't think they're doing their job right.
