In 2001, gaming changed forever. The time of Halo.

It is very simple:

It will have waves

Wave one:

You are a spartan flouting in space while your fighting elites with jetpacks, there will be space rocks that may crush you, and you could still go in any direction but, not as fast as elites,

Wave 2: You are still flouting and drones attack you, a team of Spartans try to help you.

Wave 3:

Jackels with snipers are shooting you from the large rock. One of the spartans gives you a sniper.

Wave 4:

Suicide grunts are flying at you

Wave 5:

Elites with Jetpacks and swords are flying at you. Another spartan gives you a shotgun.

Wave 6:

Everything from the other waves from wave 1-5 will all come out.

'Utrinque Paratus' - Ready for Anything

My answer is equally simple;

No.

Question:

How will we rocket around space using only an X-box controller?

You move like you do in halo, only you can't go up

No offence, but that would blow mighty chunks.

Assuming the AI can access every available axis given to them in deep space and we're stuck scooting around only one, we'd be pretty much boned.
Also, if you confine the AI to the same axis as us, it'll be even worse really.

Under water levels are the best, it's science. Space, been there done that.
