Crackdown Halo 3 beta was free? You paid for crackdown didn't you? It's a personal choice, depending mainly on if you like CODMW multi more than Halo 3 multi. Remember, there's a good chance without the 3 new maps you won't be able to do certain playlists in Halo 3 MM.

You're asking this in an ODST forum, what answer did you expect?

Your blood will clean the blood for now.

Get MW2. If you can't get both. I'm assuming your atleast active so much on xboxlive that you play multiplayer often. Imo get both. But if one, get MW2 its going to be a great game.

who said you had to pay for the beta? crackdown cost me money but the halo 3 beta didnt. so the reach beta will not.

If you're a zombie and you know it, bite your friends.

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

You should honestly get whichever you want most. I am going to think that because you are asking this question on the developers website for ODST in the forum dedicated to ODST that you are hoping more people will tell you to get ODST.

I would recommend MW2, as ODST's campaign takes about 4 hours to complete (taken from a post on Xbox.com by someone that has 1000GS in ODST, and is part of the 360 Inner circle). I'm planning on picking up ODST once the price has dropped to between $30 and $40.

price is no concern really because mom is buying it for B.Day (Nov 18). If i choose ODST it will be and early gift.

But my concern is lacking content of odst. 5 hour long campaign =[ Firefight w/o matchmaking (if it did i would of pre orderd that sucker) and Mything map 2. And you have to pay for a f ing beta ???? WTF????? Crackdown was free.......

MW2 all my friends and school people would be playing it and I heart cod4.

This is a tuff (I know its tough teacher mods) choice what shall I do.

You don't need to pay for the Halo: Reach BETA, the campaign can last as long as you want it to and why would you need matchmaking for Firefight? All stats are tracked and put here and you play it with friends...

Just save up for one or the other, I'm getting Modern Warfare 2 but ODST is coming out sooner and I'd pick Halo over Call of Duty any day.

Get some work in before your summer is over. Buy ODST, then have your mom buy MW2 as a gift.

You're asking this in a Halo 3: ODST forum. We're a bit biased.

I say get both. If you can't, then get ODST early, and try to get MW2 for Xmas. I sure as hell am not missing either one.

Go Rams and Missouri!

The campaign is not 3-5 hours long anymore. It's as long as Halo 1 and 2's.

Depends on what you're looking for in a game. Do you want a fast paced, twitchy respawn fest, or an open world, co-op campaign and Firefight mode? As you can tell by the above post, I'm pretty biased towards halo, because Call of Duty games never really held my attention. They're too repeatative, and other than weapons unlocks, there's absolutely no variety. I've always appreciated Halo for it's limitless customization through forge and custom games. Plus the new campaign will be a blast in four player co-op. But to each his own I suppose, get whatever you think you'll enjoy the most.

Buy odst get all the achievements fast, return it.
buy MW2.
buy odst again after christmas at a lower price.

Well if you're getting ti just for Achievements, you're getting it for the wrong reason. And plus, you're spending more money than you need to.
