The anticipation of death is worse than death itself.
I did do a search, multiple ones and all came back with nothing, so either no one has asked about this or the search, like all MS forums search functions, is broken.
On to the topic:
Under Projects, ODST, Community Features, on the main page, it says ODST will have 1,750GS.
all of the award-winning features included in Halo 3 are packed into Halo 3: ODST with an extra 1750 available achievement points piled on for good measure.
What's the deal? Bungie has already succeeded in changing the achievement rules MS set down long ago, opening the flood gates for horrible games to tack on tons of GS (Gears 2, CoD: WaW), with Halo 3.
Is Bungie looking to change the rules yet again and release a game with 1,750GS out of the box?
The original achievement rules stated all games must ship with 1,000GS. An additional amount up to 250GS could be added via DLC at a later date.
Bungie got these changed to: Retail game must ship with 1,000GS. An additional amount of up to 250GS can be added per fiscal quater for a total of no more than 1750GS.
So are you pushing for a rule change again or are you just getting ahead of yourself and cluing everyone in to the fact that you're planning a good amount of DLC for ODST?
