as you all likely know in the end of halo 3 on legendary there is a special ending where master chief is seen floating towards an unknown planet. my theory is that this planet is reach. the reason for unsc forces at said planet is that it is some type of recolonization attempt. i know that the planet was glassed but there is still a chance some technology could exist allowing it to be colonized. like how the moon is colonized in the halo universe. (see halopedia i believe it was mickey whos home planet was there). as the moon has no atmosphere of its own either. also the floating object seen in halo reach trailer could be mcs half of the ship. as for the enemys at reach it could be remains of the covenant, another alien group/species,or some other new enemy.

"As the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"
"We've all been lost for most of our lives every where we turn more hatred surrounds us"

ya in the video they never said it was the covenant. it could be flood.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

No. Reach was more than likely entirely glassed after the events of First Strike, there is nothing left for anyone to scavenge. The planetoid at the end of Halo 3 is also outside of our galaxy and located near the Iris Nebula.

Actually Reach was never seen/reported to have been completly glassed, so maybe the patch where Castle Base had been is still there. Since the Covenant had defeated the UNSC there maybe there was no reason to glass what was left since it was a fortress of Covenant, and rushed to chase Acendant Justice.

Even if that one section was not entirely glassed, the atmosphere would have boiled away eventually due to the fact that the majority of the planet was glassed.

DAMN YOU AND YOU'RE VALID POINTS!

All i heard was The Poles and 2/3 of the Latitudes were on fire, so that leaves, Equators and 1/3 left, might be enough to survive, cainda like a Nuclear Winter but 5x harder.

If you look closely when the ship passes you can see a floating spartan(not MC).Bungie hates the idea of time travel so the plane is a shield world or something(not onyx).

Wut? No you cant, the little things you see next to the ship are other ships that are in a deeper orbit.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!
