Good day. I'm an active and fairly enthusiastic member of the Bungie fan-base and pride myself on many qualities. If you want to send me a PM, go right ahead. No I won't spam your inbox with group invites, I will respond in the best way possible. Thank you, and as I had opened, I'll close - good day.

Halo:CE had no armor changing do to you only being able to play with the people on your console(Unless if you have Halo:CE[PC]).
Halo2 brought us matchmaking(and the fact we could be Elites or Spartans).
Halo3 brought us armor variants(Such as, for Spartans, Mk.VI, C.Q.B., E.V.A., Rouge, Hyubusa[Also known as Ninja armor], Security, ODST, Mk.V, Recon.) and we could also be decked out Elites too.
Halo3:ODST only lets us have, more or less, the Halo:CE 'skin feature'(Only letting us be one universel[By Halo standards] race). We can take off our helmets(Unless if Rook, I'm not sure if you can take of Johnson's hat though.). We can change armor secondary and emblem(Mines gonna be a 'Angry' S.I. simble.)colors(Shoulders and chestplate are still unknown).
Theres the story, or guess story, of how we got to our Halo3 armor era.
On topic, you are, 99.99%, wrong.
wow, read the OP, according to your standards, I'm 99.99% right... I said exactly what you did about ODST smart one
