As I understand it, the new maps (Citidel, Heretic, Longshore) will only be available via purchase of ODST. I would assume then, the current Halo 3 playlists will never be Mythic Part 2 required. My questions is as follows:

Will there be a separate Mythic Part 2 playlist created for MM so those that bought ODST can play the new maps online?

i hope they make a seporate mythic playlist, if they put them in with halo 3s ones they would pretty much be makeing you to buy the game to play online.

Go Rams and Missouri!

There will probably be a Team Mythic playlist (possibly using all 6 maps) that will be permanent, and I assume that some of the playlists that first required Mythic: SWAT, Snipers, Doubles, and Team DLC will require the maps. Not almost all, like there is right now.

there are undoubtedly going to be playlists for non-mythic and mythic

They'll probably do what they did with the older Mythic Maps and make an exclusive playlist, before blending them nicely into the rest of the playlists.

They aren't going to put them in as many playlists as the first Mythic maps are.

I disagree. I think that they are going to feel that most of people who play halo 3 are going to pick up halo:ODST. Therefore I feel they will make the same if not more playlists require all maps.

In my opinion, I believe that Bungie will do what they did with the Halo Wars Mythic playlist. There will be a playlist for those who bought ODST to play on the three new maps. After a while, the maps will become a DLC pack and be integrated into a few playlists a short while after.

I think it should be like a new catergory, like

Ranked
Play for keeps alone or as a team, EXP is earned and is tracked

Social
For players with guests and groups too large for a single team, EXP is earned but not tracked

Mythic
For players who have purchased Halo 3: ODST and Halo 3: Mythic. With all maps including Mythic Map Pack 2, Set playlists award and/or track EXP
