I think so because you can go if you think about it you can have a group of spartens who have an objective "bored the covenant vessel rescue the leader and destroy the ship". It sounds easy enough but you have to defend the ship from attackers. Or once they rescue the prisoners and bring them to the UNSC ship they can take control of the enemy ship and use it.

Beware the smiley face! =D

Yes, but only for one campaign level.

And maybe add in a mode called Conquest or something. Who knows.

This is an incredible step forward to being able to cure Downss sybndonre mn humans bineg.s

Yes, but not the way you were talking about. I would like a low-grav level like that part in the first level of Halo 2.

I see what your saying but what hey should do is make a shuttle bay where a pelican is but you can't use it. There are ramps for snipers and the bay should be as huge as the sanbox grifball arena and there are two warthogs. Then the rest of the map could be outside and there armory near the door leading outside. My idea shouldn't be for multiplayer but for campaign but you idea could be for multiplayer.

I think that boarding an Covenant ship from a UNSC ship would make for an awesome mission.

Maybe they should make it so that the covenant are holding prisoners and you need to rescue them

Well if it turns out to be what I think it'll be (basically a game about the battle at the end of The Fall Of Reach), then there will be a portion with that. And if there is, they could take a few pointers on the zero-gee from the guys who made Dead Space. That game was amazing.

maybe... a cutscene might be better but you know, that's just my opinion

I get what your saying but there wasn't an level that evolved with space. Only the first halo 2 mission .

Normally they don't but if they take captain key or any other leader the covenant will trick them into giving the location to earth and when the humans do and ask for there leaders the covenant can simply kill them.

First of all, Captain Keys was not captured (because he was in Halo CE), and second of all, any UNSC Captain would self-destruct the ship before he could be captured.

First of all did you ever think that Spartans would have boarded the ship and rescued captain keys or any other leaders. Second of all the covenant have clocking technology so they could have easy sneaked on bored. Third of all I have proof that they hold prisoners. The first or second mission they hold Sargent Johnson prisoner in halo 3

You are lame...

if we have space battle we should definitely have underwater fights too!!!!
/sarcasm

This idea is silly imo, it just stretches out Halo's gameplay to much.

This sounds familiar...

Why not have one level be that docking ring from the book? A zero G CQC mission would be awesome.

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

The way you suggested, no. Hornets and Banshees can't be used in space, unless you want to be a floating target.

I wouldn't mind a level where you first defend a vessel from capture, then get to Hop in a boarding craft and watch an epic space battle while making your way to the Covenant ship.

People don't seem to realize.....UNSC ships just can't compete with Covenant ones. If you are thinking Star Wars style battle like this will be in Reach, you are mistaken. It was mostly hit and run (or hit then get vaporized) tactics used by the UNSC in space engagements.

I believe you are mistaken. Yes, Keyes was in Halo CE, but there were two missions where you were supposed to rescue him, both taking place on the Truth and Reconciliation.

As for the self destruct thing, it was needed later in the story, so Bungie decided to have him try to land the ship instead.

Sorry if I confused anyone, but this post was kind of meant as a joke, I know that the Covenant did take prisoners, but they rarely did, and people would probably notice if there were cloaked elites because doors would randomly open, and the humans have thermal sensors. Im not trying to make a debate though, so you don't have to try to argue with me as I wont respond.

I think being able to use the jetpacks would be a nice change of pace, maybe make the level so it changes the players perception of events like fighting from the outside of a MAC station and fight your way all the way up the cannon, facing "up" the entire time?

I know your not arguing anymore but in halo CE the marines never notice until the elites attacked and if what I said happened then when the elites open the door the marines will think there's a faulty wire. If the elites hold energy swords, plasma rifles and plasma pistols then they could be seen but if they hold the beam rifle, fuel rod cannon, carbine, mauler and needler they really wont be seen
