You know when I saw the halo 3 previews i was 10 around that time and I said to myself "Im gonna get that game." So I told everyone what i wanted for christmas that year, and when chistmas came around I unwraped a slender present and inside was not halo 3 but instead the halo ce. I was a little dissapointed I wanted halo 3 not halo ce, I gave the game a try and I became hooked on halo it was the best game of all my xbox games and after the ending, I needed more. I one day bought halo 2 when I was still ten when I first played it I was suprised saying "This is not the halo I know." But I gave it a try and sure enough I loved it. So 3 years later I finaly got an xbox 360 and got halo 3. Halo 3 was the bow of the present it was awsome I loved the graphics, I loved the music and I finaly kicked the Covenants -blam- and destroyed the flood. I was sad though sad that the chief is confirmed KIA and they're probably never going to find him again. All im saying is Bungie you are the best game developers ever and yes i hope you continue to kick -blam- for many years to come. And to this day I still have halo CE and halo 2 on my xbox 360 rembering what what has begined is now over.

lol, it's cool that you ended up playing through halo 1 and 2 before you got 3. It seems like tons of people just play halo 3 becuase it's a "popular" game.

Oh and BTW, the chiefs not dead, beat the game on legendary and you'll see.

Owners of the Katana: A place for those who have a Katana or over 1000GS in Halo 3.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

It's great how you went in order of the games. :)

Good job OP, way to ignore the hype and go for order!

There's something to be said for the cumulative effect. Who could possibly get as much out of 2 & 3 if he/she didn't know 1 ? If one started with Return of the Jedi, how much impact would the Skywalker family revelations have ?
There was a time when "Brute Force" was 'going to be a Halo killer'... Yeah. Still here. Still the best by a mile. Good to see younger folks appreciating.

Wait. Brute Force was supposed to be a "Halo Killer"? The game was good but nothing really special.

Man, you're generous.
I think (and don't quote me here) OXM actually ran that term on its cover. I thought CE functionally killed the TPS, and was surprised to even see a new one. The Halo revolution was slow to take hold. (Amazingly) As far as the gameplay went...had the demo from OXM. Shadows of the Empire killed it, IMO. Woof.
