I would like to invite you to the most active group there is, Black Water Ops. Boasting over 1950 members this is one of the fastest growing groups and proven to be one of the most active b.net groups. An amazing experience awaits you with weekly game nights, photo contests, and forging contests. This is one decision you won't regret. Welcome to the family!

the following is my arguement AGAINST classes if you do not want to hear me argue, leave now, you have been warned

so I think that power weapons placed strategically around the map make the game what it is, if they put classes in it would turn it into a unbalenced frenzy, it would create SO MUCH WORK for bungie to try to balence a sniper class against a shotty class against a rocket class, just saying I''d rather they're wouldn't be classes, not that anyone cares or will take heed of my words just voicing my opinion

yup it makes the game strategic, you need plans, like have the best BR's go for power weapons and have the rest support, classes would turn it into a "my skill is better than you I immediatly win" in halo even if you aren't good by yourself, your teamwork can help you out, alone you stand no chance, as a team you can win, four always beats 1

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

It would be simple as hell balancing the Sniper to the Rockets. Rockets have lots of shields/health, but they recharge slowly, and he moves slowly. Sniper has little health and shields, they recharge slowly, lots of endurance to move from place to place, they run fast, but their moton trackers are very limited to prevent camping.)

Instead of figting over key weapons on the map, they could always make different parts of the map (especially if it is on a larger scale) more beneficial to different weapons (i.e. close range parts for the shotguns, hills for the snipers, rivers for the recon, etc.)

Warning: You may find that my, or someone else's opinion does not comply with yours. Side effects of disagreement may include (but are not limited to): flaming, irrational behavior, broken keyboards, and/or nervous sweats. If you experience any of these symptoms refrain from communicating with others until the symptoms have subsided.

It seams like there should just be a "Classes" Game Type, I mean your argument is basically against Game Types like " Team Snipers." Have you ever tried to run for the power weapons in that Game Type?

I don't know about always, but having a team behind you really helps. And having the power weapons in the middle-ish area of the map helps make Halo what it is.
