I have just pre-ordered the Halo 3: ODST Limited Edition with the Halo 3: ODST's limited edition 360 controller and was wondering if the battery pack is a rechargeable one, or is it batteries. The reason for this question is that if it is batteries I would like to swap it for a rechargeable battery pack and I don't think you can buy a battery pack that is the same colour as the controller.

It uses batteries. And I don't think there will be any battery packs in the same colour

Give a man fire he's warm for a day light a man on fire he's warm for his life.

Just go buy an black battery pack.

I would have assumed that it would be like buying a normal controller. If a normal controller comes with batteries, than the LE controller will. If it comes with batteries instead of rechargable packs, then that's unlucky, but if you can't manage the colour scheme when you use your black or white packs on your LE controller, then that's not Bungies fault.

Also, nice Emblem =]

I think that if it does use batteries then that is a bit of a cop out on Bungies behalf. Maybe Bungie can commission Microsoft to make one, as I would not mind paying the bit extra for it. As this would save me £££ on feeding the controller batteries.

I have a black battery pack from my elite controller, I was just wondering that's all.

then that's not Bungies fault.

Well considering that Bungie had a hand in the design of the LE controller then that makes it their fault.

Or maybe you could buy rechargeable batteries. They don't cost that much in the end.
