Subject: Please Bungie

Think you can take me in NHL12? Send me a message/invite

Do not be like nub Treyarch and make every god damn firefight map hackable, and glitchable.

When the first Zombies came out, they were fun. Everyone wanted to be in the top of the leaderboards. Then, when glitches were released, those of us who worked hard with 4 people to get to round 30, or 40, were disappointed when we saw some guy by himself on round 4000.

Cool Story, Bro

Lol

But please just if glitches are found, patch them and ban the abusers.

Thanks :)

glitches are what destroyed Halo 2. But the great thing is it will be easy to see how they were done and be fix because of the theater mode.

There is nothing wrong with Halo:Reach. We all just have our gripes about everything we don't like. Not liking something doesn't make it broken.

I think that Bungie will be ready and able to prevent and patch all the nasty little bugs that crawl out from under the stones when the Halo community finally digs it's grubby little paws into it.

Bungie is a little too kind to their community to let the leaderboards and such become worthless.

what's meant by zombies do you mean -blam!- zombies

My troll sense is tingling.

Considering that they've already fixed glitches with Halo 3's maps, they will fix em.

  • 08.17.2009 11:13 AM PDT

The trouble is that MOST of the Halo community is extremely intelligent. People who are DETERMINED to find glitches or ways to exploit the system won't stop at anything until they achieve their means. Bungie does a fantastic job to prevent this 9 times out of 10, but there's always someone who's willing to go the extra mile to glitch.

Yarr, I'm a pirate.

I get the feeling the leaderboards will have legit people on them for about 2 weeks, then people will figure out how to glitch and bypass those people and then they'll be meaningless.

So you're admitting you're not intelligent?

Halo 2 was fun with some glitches. I loved getting out of maps like Gemini and doing superjumps. Though people who abused it and used it in multiplayer matches ruined it.

actually most of the people on halo2 would agree that glitches are what made halo 2 so much fun it took 70 years to rank up and snipers was too easy no one plays anything else anymore so glitches make it soooo much more fun but for halo 3 its fun without glitches

Treyarch should have gotten rid of all of those ridiculous scores and banned those who kept trying to use them.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?

I do it for the lulz.

In all honesty, I do look for glitches, exploit them, and have fun with it.
But I know that if there's a leaderboard, there's going to be people wanting precision.
I'll admit I'll look, but once I find I'll try to avoid.
If I find one in campaign however...

Lol at the people asking me if it's N zombies. Of course it is. Did I not say treyarch lol.

And yeah, but hopefully if glitchers are found, Bungie lets the banhammer come down full throttle. Maybe even with a permaban

I really dont see it happening considering...
Bungie's dedication to making a 'complete' game(aka no glitches)
The theater system
The considerably small number of 'legit' hackers(face it, it was your lag or you just suck)
The sheer number of moderators Bungee has employeed
