My troll sense is tingling.

The reason why they can't dual wield is not so much about physicality, but rather mental issues. It's not something the mind can easily cope with. Spartans can flip tanks, but a turret isn't all that heavy.

If actually listen to they tutorial guy in H2 he says that your new suit is now equipped with the ability to register two weapons. So it isn't all about physicallity that much, but rather technology.

So what if the saxophone is black?
it has better tone the the gold one.
damn straight i play Jazz.

dual weilding has nothing to do with strength and everything to do with accuracy.

no military trains the use of dual weilded weapons. trying to hit a target acurately without two hands on the weapon(this includes pistols) is near impossible, we just don't have that kind of muscle control. as for the cheif, he was augmented and had much better muscle control. and hence is able dual weild and shoot accuratly.

as for the turret. it's a chaingun... it's not accurate to begin with so why not?

finally.. IT"S A -blam!- GAME

edit: as stated above, it could have to do with their targeting systems as well

I don't understad how it could be mental, have to with suits, or technology.

You have a gun in each hand. You pull the triggers.

and miss every shot. believe me i've tried it. it's damn near impossible, and i have a 94.8% accuracy rating

The SMG's recoil will tear your arm off if you use it with one hand, and the bullets will almost never hit their mark. Now imagine two guns.

Dual wielding takes actually practicing and training to do it. Military doesn't train troops how to dual wield, because it's pretty impractical for the most part.

lol to be honest i have learned how to communicate a point effectivly because of these forums. If you have a loop hole or your thoughts are poorly developed in these parts of the interwebs, people find it and pick it apart.

I learned with much work to make more and more effective points and have been convincing people more and more often. I take pride in my clearer thinking

Just see the Turret as a heavy machine gun. I know normal Marines can carry those, why not these ODSTs.

As for dual-wielding, how often to you see a human soldier in the battlefield firing two MP5s? Spartans are crazy and do it because it will actually make them more effective in some situations. ODSTs can dual-wield too, no freekin' doubt about that. I can dual-wield too! ODSTs shouldn't dual-wield because they can.

Maybe flawed logic but that's how I want to see it.

he was relating to reality. he is saying sure an ODST is capable, but in reality, the game doesn't let you because you shouldn't dual wield

His post was a reply to mine?

Maybe I didn't write it good enough, but then again, you understood.
