I don't mean make I mean publish (in charge of IP and marketing) so instead of Bungie and Microsoft Game studios it would be Bungie and 343 Industries.

What spectagon are you in?

Bungie exists as an independent developer, and 343 Industries is the name of the group in Microsoft that is in charge of the Halo franchise. Bungie isn't being split to form them, they just happen to have a few former Bungie alums working there. 343 has existed for some time, but they were known before as the "Halo Franchise Development Group" or something like that.

Here's the press release text that explains it, with some points underlined: 343 Industries is the publisher of the blockbuster Halo series of videogames and, as part of Microsoft Game Studios, oversees the Halo franchise, including novels, comics, licensed collectibles, apparel and more. 343 Industries is home to world-class developers working on future Halo projects, including Halo Legends and Halo Waypoint, as well as partnering with renowned developers such as Bungie LLC and Robot Entertainment to produce Halo games for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

Do you even know the difference between developer and publisher?
Obviously not, so please leave the discussion to people that know what they are talking about.

Microsoft Game Studios will publish everything that has to do with halo. It's their franchise. 343 is just a part of mgs that watches over halo.

bungie is a developer, not a publisher, therefore, no, bungie will not publish the games, sounds like 343 industries will.

I have some questions though I never heard of 343? well Im not all that into publishers I should though lol. Why call them publishers they are in all rights a Lender. They pay the bills for the developer so why publisher I dont get it lol. I can kinda see it they pay the bill for the game to be distrubuted to everyone.

Trailer names Microsoft and Bungie. If 343 was going to help they probably would've announced it then to avoid mass confusion.

343 wouldnt be credited because its only a subdivison of microsoft game publishing. The entire 343 subdivision was created because of Halo and is basically run by Bungie. (notice the relation of the name to a significant something in the Halo Universe... 343 Industries and 343 Guilty Spark) So what im trying to get at is that When the teaser named Microsoft and Bungie is in turn named 343 through its generality.

Robot Entertainment, could this hint to a halo wars 2 that would be awsome, I have always thought that Halo wars should be a trilogy
