I know I am. Halo games are always my favorite and if it says disc unreadable after 90 days I'm gonna flip.

Another thing I would like to say is does anyone else have the problem that the Xbox 360 itself scratches the disc, It causes this circle around the disc, my friend said that this happens because the laser is too close to the disc tray. But why the hell is Microsoft not doing anything about it, a game console that destroys the game is wrong. And since Microsoft is to greedy to fix this problem I have waste money on games that after a while don't work. For instance my assasin's creed broke after 90 days. That was one of my favorite games so I bought a new used one.
Oh and one more thing my xbox is on its side it's supposed help with that problem but Im not sure if it does. do any of you know?

I think i will if it has benefits, like faster speed etc. if it isnt recommended like halo 3 was though i dont see the point. so yeah, basically it depends on the implications : ]

I had the same thing happen to my halo 3, with a scratch around the perimeter of the disc. It only happens if you tilt the xbox while it's running, like I foolishly did to get the box off a cord. Luckily the disc's information is not recorded on the very edge for this reason, so the disc lasted a year.

ROFL. Your games are getting screwed up because either your house it shifted at too far of an angle or you don't realize you're not supposed to move your 360 AT ALL if it's not off (with the disc inside done spinning). You'll mess up your 360 and your games if you don't either get a wedge or stop screwing with your 360.

Anyways, I don't think I will unless for some reason the loading times are as long as Halo 3's (which I doubt they will).

You can download but the disc has to have no scratches on it and has to be in the console when playing but it does help a lot. And to tell you the truth I really didn't like Halo Wars I didn't even beat it I got up to like the 3rd level or something lol

No i dont move my 360 and my house is not on a tilt lol. My 360 is lying flat on a table

blame stosh!

it happens when you move the consol with a disc in it, and its fixed in newer ones

Monkey see, Monkey shoot.

Terry Pratchet - The Best.

No... sadly I won't. Hard-drive is Full!

That said it is very true about having no scratches. I put a new disk in the xbox of fable 2 and tried to get it to copy it in. Took 8 tries....

....and half a tube of toothpaste.

Bungie have already stated that you can install the ODST disk and it will improve performance, but you should not install the Halo 3 multiplayer disk, its on the front page in the bungie message iirc

Vancouver BC, Canada.

Probably not; I'll just stick each disc into the Xbox whenever I want to use it.

90 days? My Halo 3 disc is clean as hell, do you keep them in their cases?

Anyway, I could since I have 120GB on my hard drive but I don't know if I will.

90 days is when the warranty on most games runs out

so if the disc gets scratched after 90 days you cant return it. and yes i keep my games in a case

Dedicated driver.

If your console is damaging your game it's because:
You're moving it around while a disc is inside or the thing it's standing on is shaking.
Your console is standing up instead of laying down.
It's broken and you should get it replaced.

And it's installing, not downloading. Know the difference.

I know what you're talking about, I never take my games to my friend's house because his Xbox yells/barks/growls at me.
Also, in the recent Weekly Update, Bungie said to install the Campaign/Firefight disk, but not the Halo 3 Mythic disk. Cuz that would be weird.

Get the 120 instead. I've got the 60, it's not enough and besides, you'll get more for your money.
