for first off to the person right above my post, balanced back to a footsoldier? i don;t think so. most people use it on infantry unless there is a vehicle out, they dont do the smart thing(shack up and wait for some idiot to come out in a mongoose or chopper).

I hope they keep it.
Its a good power weapon that has a pretty much equal amount of pros and cons. And its the only reliable weapon against good drivers and pilots who can easily dodge missile pods, rockets, and nades.
If anything make it only have three shots.
NOW to the qouteWTF? EQUAL pros and cons? the pro's out weigh the cons. 1. you have a LASER that can not eb deflected, has slight explosive damage at the end of its 1 way trip and it RIPS through multiple targets, vehicles included. 2. you have 5 shots, with a scope, that you cant miss with if you are even somewhat OK with a BR or sniper. 3. the only warning you get before this rips sideways through your entrie team (seen it happen) is a small red beam and a noise... most people have mics on and have the volumn at a managable level and won't here it, and only logical power weapon user would use the paint UI behind the targets until it is almost charged. >.< if the SL is in reach i think it will screw up the story line, MM experiance and that classic halo feel... it did for halo 3. The missle pod and rocket launcher are already vehicle killers, along with your disablers (PP, PD and gravlift) you have a pretty nice AV arsenal. and the missle pod is great damage, but why not make rocket launchers a bit more common, put the lock on feature (makes sense, this is almost 500 years in the future, and we can paint/lock vehicles today; and take the missle pod/SL out, maybe put in the CE version of the fuel rod gun (AV to the max). AND if you haven't stopped reading my post by now, i am just gonna sum it up... Spartan lazers take no -BLAM!- skill, i got my first h3 overkill with one, picking it up for the second time in my career.
