Subject: The Arbiter in Halo: Reach???

http://www.programmedtolive.com/

At the start of Halo 2, the Arbiter says to the Prophets that he was on Reach when it was glassed and he watched the Pillar of Autumn flee, and that then he followed it to Halo. Does anyone have any thoughts as to whether or not the Arbiter's character will even make the slightest appearance in Halo: Reach?

I doubt it. He was only present during the very beginning of the battle because he followed the Pillar of Autumn. I hope we see another Elite side of the story in this game though.

There could be an Arbiter but not the one in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Remember there can only be one at a time.

I would like to see that. However the Arbiter (Thel Vadam) isn't going to be an Arbiter at the time, he will be in the Zealot golden armor.

no, he followed the pillar of autumn.

  • 08.18.2009 2:52 PM PDT

which only fled the battle at the very end when the UNSC fleet was obliterated

For the Sangheili!

It's possible, but not in the Arbiter's armor. Instead in Fleet Masters' armor if I am not mistaken.

BAM!!!!! you just got sniped!

i think ur right but its "a" arbiter, not the one in 2 and 3, because theres one in the books....i think, i havent read fall of reach or 1st strike for a while.

The Fall of Reach and First Strike books do not mention an Arbiter if I remember correctly. Also, I doubt any Arbiter, except for the one from Halo 2 but in his Golden armor will be in it because in the beginning of Halo 2 they show the Arbiter armor in the Realm of the Arbiter or whatever with the armor in the center structure.

None of the books mention an Arbiter.
r u shuuurrreee??

Thel was a Supreme Commander during Reach. He would have been on his Flagship planning everything, not the front lines.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

Fail is Fail. He was wearing Dark Purple armor with a Cape, other than that you got it all right.

there was an arbiter in the book fall of reach but that was an old arbiter, probably the same one in halo wars, in halo 2 when he says he remembers reach it was probably back when he was a regular shipmaster.

Also known as Entropy91
Black Water Ops representative.
See you on the battlefield.

Well, he did pursue the Pillar of Autumn from the battle, so it's fairly obvious that he was at the battle. It's possible that he'd show up in the game.

@ DemonoidMaster

since he was stabbed in the neck, dumped off a suspended platform thousands of feet above the surface of the shield world, and then his corpse was exploded

I doubt it, lol

Umm no there was no Arbiter in Fall of Reach. Also, Reach happened RIGHT BEFORE Halo CE, he was Supreme Commander of the Fleet of Particular Justice, he FOLLOWED THE PILLAR OF AUTUMN AS IT FLED REACH AND WOUND UP AT HALO.
