Don't hate... ...loathe.

As of today I haven't seen any ad's for ODST anywhere and it comes out in about 35 days. Has anyone seen any ads or heard of ad campaign for the game. The seach bar didn't come up with any results or I just didn't think of enough terms to search for. I'm not counting the E3 coverage, game site, or game magazine news/previews. Word of mouth is big though.

I remember TV ad's for Halo: 3. I think there saving the media blitz for there next game (Reach) but I expected to see something.

Me neither. Besides the billboards insid Gamestop locations its under-advertised. But as we've all seen Bunge can not advertise a game and still have a sell-out (i.e the original Halo's werent heavily advertised just word of mouth i believe, correct me if im wrong).

They're probably still working on it.35 days is still plenty of time to make some commercials and stuff.

Yes, Halo 1 was a real sleeper hit. It saved the xbox.

Everyone that regularly plays Halo knows about it and if half of them buy it it would be a huge seller by normal game standards. All the people that I play with are talking about what the game will be like; we all automaticly know it is one of the games that everyone will get.

They may wait til' christmas season and rideout the sales flow by the bigger fans of the series to maximize the advatisement dollar. Thats up to Microsoft as a publisher though.

With most of the gaming market on the internet, TV ads and other big campaigns probably are on the way out because publishers now have much more accessible, and cheaper, means of getting the word out about their games.

So, while there may be something noteworthy, I wouldn't expect to see an ODST spot during the SImpsons, so to speak.

I never saw a gaming commercial for anything besides Sonic/Mario games, and 1 Resident Evil 5 commercial.
