bungie these are good maps and i love them all but what i wouldve like as one of the last maps is for you to put somthin like you know old maps like blood gultch or death island or even infinity but well i guess you guy know what your doing

Bugs in halo reach final game as of 9/2/10

in forge i am trying to make gametypes objectives but all i see is hill markers and flag points. If im trying to make a ctf game variant and i use the capture point and the flag stand and go into custom games. There is always a error saying "map not compatible with gametype" This is not just with ctf but with most other custom game and map variants.
EDIT: this was just a understanding issue that was cleared post-game release

i think they put this up because people were complaing it was boring and dull. i agree

I used to think this would be the worst map until I read this, the others might be better, but now I see that this is definitely playable. I was sort of disappointed with Orbital and Assembly, I almost wished I could just buy Sandbox. All the next 3 Mythic maps look fun though, and now I can tell that Citadel will be fun. Though to me it looked mostly like an MLG map...

Out of curiousity, because it is a Forerunner map, and I have yet to see one with this feature, does the Sentinel Beam spawn by default on this map? I've been waiting for a map that does, and this seems like the kind of map where it wouldnt be too overpowered (lots of corners, and not many huge LOS.

Lars Bakken: The equipment comes back pretty quickly in the default setup, which makes for a lot of equipment usage.

Blake Low: ...the energy drain comes in far more handy on this map than those of the past. You can cut off paths and force flag carriers to take a longer alternate route giving your team more time or throw one down a hall and weaken a cluster of enemies.

So the design decision was made to focus on the weakest aspect of Halo 3's gameplay, equipment, in the weakest playspace, the closed corridor?

For some reason even though Guardian isn't symmetrical... I think Citadel is going to be sort of like it. Just like not big and good for 4v4... could be the next Guardian haha (:

when i first heard i was hoping for a remake of hangem high or prisinor.hopefully bungie will make one of those maps for another map pack.

this new map pack is the worst ever!with the eception of LONGSHORE Bungie you could have done alot better. of all the Halo2 maps you picked that sorry map "midship" to duplicate. no one has been asking for this sorry map again. Whatever!

I'd like to see a sentinel beam in a default map. And I'm assuming there will be a sentinel beam available in forge.

Another portion of Epitaph? I can already see the threads in the Halo 3 Forum over this. The "Secret of Epitaph" all over again, except twice as bad.

Map looks nice, though.
