In Halo 3, I loved the Mancannon. However, it seemed somewhat lacking in practicality. Sure you could launcher yourself, but that's about it. I think the next step should be vehicular mancannons or mancannons that could be controlled as vehicles, obviously.
The Human Mancannon Vheicle: The Giraffe
While I understand that Giraffe may seem like a silly name for a UNSC vehicle, it was the only fitting name I could think of. Take the basic model of the Scorpion Tank, remove the cannon, and add a launcher that is like the top of the Fat Man from Fallout 3.

The Covenant Mancannon Vehicle: The Vision
Like the Giraffe, you would use the model of the Covenant tank, the Wraith. You would have a larger, wider non-lethal version of the plasma mortar as the launcher.
Vehicle Operations
You can use the vehicles two ways. Players could assume the roles of a driver and cannon operator. Other players can get in the cannon and the operator can launch them. Or you could just assume the role of the cannon operator and shoot your teammates from your base.
Cannon Control
As the cannon operator you can aim your teammate with with a laser guided system that arcs. If you need a description, think along the lines of throwing grenades in Gears of War.
Special
With a system like this, players will inevitable try to launch objects and other vehicles. Perhaps as little gesture of kindness, you can indirectly launch other objects. Flying box kill!
Overall, this is only an idea, but I think it would add a new factor into multiplayer. Would you be for this or against this?
