Jesus Christ, Frnksnbns. Chill out. You're blabbering about trivial stuff and making yourself look like an idiot.
Halo has been patched against all known security flaws, and it's been patched in a timely fashion. While Bungie did ignore many reported problems at first (Haloboom), once they became public (thank you full disclosure), they were immediately patched. This has been going on since Halo's release, hence the reason we are now at version 1.09.
There is absolutely nothing that Bungie can do about aimbotting. Even if the game in its current state was to be fully patched against it, it is impossible to prevent someone from finding a way to make a working aimbot. If someone is desperate, they will find a way.
Also, never once did he say Bungie knew about the aimbotting problem before release. Christ, it wasn't a problem until three years after release. They had no idea how it could be done anymore than anyone else at that time. Anyone can speculate there might be a problem, but it doesn't mean they know how. Heck, I'll speculate that there's a security glitch with this website. Does that mean I know what it is or how it's performed?
If anything, you could say that Halo on the PC is one of the most rock solid games ever. Other than the aimbot, it is LITERALLY impossible to cheat, since everything depends on the server. In Halo, the server is the boss. When you perform an action on your client, it needs to go back to the server. That server is basically playing the game with your input, but with the game's defaults. So, if you were to put on a superjump cheat on the client, the server wouldn't know that, and you would end up appearing like you are jumping on the client, but that wouldn't be happening on the server or other clients because they are getting info from the server.
If you want features in Halo Custom Edition, then play Halo Custom Edition. That developed alone on Gearbox's behalf, and the download is offered with absolutely zero warranty or support.
Halo 2 Vista, though, is a different story. That game would need to be redone from the ground up. It's broken in so many areas that you need a 9 page Microsoft Word document to explain them all (and the list isn't even complete). The GFWL integration causes further problems, since it wasn't built right from the start and CD-key authentication (such as with the GameSpy API) with the server is non-existent. If someone was willing to patch this game (or if you're making Halo 3), please ask for our input before doing. It seems like we know more about the proper way to handle these things than those in charge of the project.
