look people, halo 2 is not going to be for pc!! are you guys stupid!! no flippin way halo 2 is gonna run on a pc. have you looked at xbox's specs???? 733 megahertz. what do PCs these days have? well a new pc i saw at best buy had 2.7 megahertz. wow. yea halo 2 will run on that alright hahaha. plus it would suck, you wouldn't have online play. you have to have xbox live...and u have to have an xbox to get xbox live. so if you got halo 2 for pc you would have to have an xbox also to get the xbox live! and not only that, controllers are soooo much better than keyboards and mouse! and you would have a smaller screen. i'd rather play on a big tv screen then a puny computer screen.
o well i dont care anyway. when halo 3 comes out no one will even want halo 2 for pc. o btw, i heard that xbox 360 isn't a console, and that its actually a CD u buy and put into ur xbox and it upgrades your graphics. who knows, maybe they will make something like this for pc so you can play halo 2 for pc, and maybe even halo 3 for pc. but i doubt it.
I pray to god that you're joking.... Because if not, you need to join the scarecrow and follow the yellow brick road...
Seriously - specs and pics have been released for the xbox 360 - it's not a cd - everybody knows that. What's even funnier is that you think software can magically upgrade hardware, which is the stuff of science fiction. Maybe in 300 years when nanorobtics is perfected, a cd could upgrade the hardware of a console, but not today, pal.
As for the whole megahertz vs. gigahertz thing - I suppose you made an honest mistake, and if you were right, you would have had a good arguement. However you could have spent five minutes figuring it out before you posted and saved yourself a flame or two... Xboxes are made using Pentium IIIs - What arewe at now? The sunset of the Pentium 4s?
By the way - we were playing Halo online before the release date of Halo 2 for xbox was even announced - we've been online for some time now. And while you guys have to sit and wait for updates and new maps, we can make our own and play on them.
I happen to have a 21" monitor and my friend has a 27" plasma widescreen monitor. Monitors also have much better image quality than TVs.
Now, go put a band-aid on your xbox's pride.
(dedicated to vectorracer - I'm trying really hard dude....)
