Subject: Firefight Armor DLC-Has Bungie learned?

After Halo 3 was released there was alot of community outcry for new Armor DLC for matchmaking. Unfortunately they was the armor was programmed into the game, DLC was impossible.

But i ask, do you think bungie has learned? Do you think its possible they've made it possible for new Characters and Armor to be added to Firefight?

Opinions?

It's impossible for the same reason it was in Halo 3

the reason that new armor is not added to Halo 3 is because it is not on the disc and cannot be added. And it would be kinda lame to play as a character thats not a odst

Bungie is one step away from controlling the world. They can do it.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Halo 3: ODST was approached as an expansion pack. They have improved somethings about the game, but it uses the same engines. Anything that was impossible to do, due to hard programing, is still impossible.

Beyond that, although I sort of liked the idea at first, I have come to terms with the fact, that Armour perm DLC would be an extremely foolish use of resources. I think its safe to say, Bungie wants to deliver value. They don't want their DLC to be a long running joke in the industry. They don't want to be known as the guys that made "horse armour, for soldiers that take horse testosterone".

The bad rep, Betheseda got for Horse armour, helped them understand that micro transactions, are not what the majority want. And re-locating resources as to produce more value is much better.

No. You got it wrong. It's:

Haha. In all seriousness, it's impossible to do as Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST share the same template known as a Sandbox. They share all the same type of coding and junk. As for putting in new armor, keep dreaming.

Thanks for clearing it up all. I wasn't sure it it would be possible. it wouldbe fun, but if they can't, oh well. I'll just enjoy the game how it is.
