Watchya doin?

I have been wondering this for awhile, but because you are mainly trying to solve the mystery of New Mombasa, It would be more exiting the first time because its a mystery, but when it comes to playing the campaign twice, You'll know where everything is, and what happens... I know your thinking its the same for every game, like you know what happens in the end. I could easily be proven wrong though, of course you are still on the mission that involves defeating the covenant. So who knows, eh, It'll probably be fun every time you play it, I guess we'll have to wait for the game to actually come out then :)

-Also knowing Bungie, the game will probably be fun every time you play it.-

Plekpedia - The most epic site in the history of ever.

It'll be fun, don't worry.

I'll hold the rope..... and the camera. 'Cause I'm a multitasker like that.

As agile as a cougar on a young man.

Ok, if you say so boss!

Wildcard Machinima!

Yeah, I have to play it three times. Once on Normal for the story, once on Legendary (just because), and again for all the achievements.

Play it the first time.
Play it and look for everything.
Co-Op with four people.

I think I'll play it like that.

It is. I always love it when friends ask for help on campaign (except Crows Nest and Cortana).

  • 08.20.2009 5:50 PM PDT

no, definetely not

the campaign is mainly open world... you could do the missions in any order you wish... it could be different every time....

it'll be much more re playable than halo 3's

Bungie.net is the place to be!

Amidst the snowfall, the cold does little to diminish his wishes to be free. The eagle is chained and has no way of breaking free. No matter how much he flies, he still is chained. The blizzards do nothing to break his determination and in his eyes, he will be freed, someday...

Bad habits are like chains that are too light to feel until they are too heavy to carry

I ain't doing any missions. That's what they want me to do. I am just going to go all around New Mombasa hunting Brutes. That is it. I am going to slaughter every Brute until there is not a living soul in New Mombasa besides the ODSTs.

I have no idea how many times I've beaten certain levels of Halo: CE and Halo 2...

  • 08.20.2009 6:15 PM PDT

We didn't know the events of Halo 3, yet its still really fun...

That's because the campaign of those games destroy Halo 3's campaign. I have played Halo 2's campaign so many times it is actually ridiculous.

Pshhh you could play it a million times and not get sick of it.Have you ever gotten sick of any of the other games?Sure you may have solved the mystery, but being an ODST with the sick new guns... come on.

  • 08.20.2009 6:19 PM PDT

Considering none of us here have played it and can only tell the basic mechanics of how it will work, I would reserve judgement until we get our hands on the game.

  • 08.20.2009 6:19 PM PDT

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
And Spitfire pony
Is my Waifu <3

I think it would be pretty fun the first couple of times, and many times afterwards whilst searching for all the little secrets, easter eggs, and 7 references that bungie put in for us.

"I'm afraid of the man I'll become if I lay my life down for the people I don't even care for"

SInce the game is free roam and the city is HUGE. Bungie probably has some things instore.

Golf Wang. Brony.

From what I've read in the new issue of OXM (selling October 09 issue in Wal-Mart right now, WTF?) and the linear missions already sound epic.

It's balls-out urban guerilla warfare, Halo-style. What more could you want?

Dude, it's mostly free roam so just do it over in a different order.

Halo: CE Anniversary Achievement Idea
C-C-C-CANNON BREAKER!
Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.

Remember that the game is semi-free roam. That means random patrols no matter where you go. It will never get old. :D

  • 08.20.2009 7:53 PM PDT

"Welcome to the Greatest Show Unearthed"

of course. It's free roam, so you can do it several different ways, tryf to get achievements, or just explore everything. The possibilities are endless :D

Not for me. I hate people who play through a game once and go "Oh I've seen everything and I know what happens so whats the point?" Uh, to have freaken fun! I never get tire of games really and ODST campaign looks so good that I think I'll be playing more then Halo 3 Mythic.
