In Halo 3, everyone knows that if your doing Campaign with freinds, and one leaves, then the game ends. Will this be the same in ODST during Firefight? Or will people be able to Leave/Join freely without the game ending?

It's on a lot of community maps. Affinity, Think Twice, Abridged...

I meant good maps

No-one knows, Hopefully it's the latter, but I could see some problems arising from this.

I hope seamless joining/leaving is integrated. Otherwise it could be a pain...

I hope you can quit out without ending the game. I lag out a lot and don't want to ruin my friends fun because of this. It would be perfect if I could join back then.(But you shouldn't be able to get into the game randomly)

Maybe have an Invite Only, Open Party type thing to keep unwanted freinds out of the game.

Hey guess what!? I play CoD more than Halo, but I'm not an annoying fanboy. I love CoD more, but I like how involved the Halo Community is...

it would suck to find a Beacon:

Late at night
With friends
You didn't check the Map just to explore
Had a cool travel
Find some Easter eggs

Then just Have the game end because someone left.

Too Legit to Quit

I hadnt thought about that. I hope that it will be seemless. Its possible. People can jump in and out of games like Cod. (Not saying that its perfect or anything just stating) So we know its possible, but is it possible with Bungie?

Me thinks yes.

Lets hope.

Well in -blam!- zombies people can leave but not join back. Hopefully its the same in ODST

Randomly joining in would suck. And I hope it's not like Gears of War 2 where if the party leader quits, everyone quits.

i would only want it so it doesnt end when someone quits if people could join that would be a bonus
