Tell me, do you think maps like this would be a good addition to Halo: Reach
Map Name:
Location: Outer Space
Rules:
-Teams: up to 4 teams max of 8 players per team, 16 players per game eg if there are 4 teams 4 people per team,
Any type of game eg. slayer could be played.
Structures:
Two main structures, each with four airlocks to which a vehicle can be attached
1-2 asteroids that float around, maybe a few abandoned vehicles and weapons there.
Vehicles:
Pelican, Hawk*, Banshee, Phantom, Spirit, Vulture*, Vampire*, Longsword, Seraph
*Vehicles from Halo Wars
Description:
Each big base has 4 airlocks which can be used for pelicans or other vehicles, Turrets are on the outside of the base and can be fired from the control room at incoming vehicles
. Windows can be smashed to create strong (not deadly) vacuum, sucking nearby objects out into space(bulkheads close after a few seconds).
A central section in the base where airlocks can be locked down, gravity disabled, turrets fired, and bulkheads closed(to prevent the chance of someone smashing the windows).
*Vehicles such as pelicans and the covenant equivalent could be used as CTF objectives or a new gametype where you have to destroy a certain vehicle(thanks to Capt Daget for this)
The asteroids have a small cave with bulkheads that sense vehicles and open, allowing vehicles to dock and access other vehicles, weapons and powerups.
Each base has a series of corridors, most with windows, but some without. Each base is about 100mX100m, with the out facing corridors long and open and the interior corridors closed off and close quarters.
A few weapons are scattered around, with sniper rifles, BRs, ARs, Spartan Lasers and rocket launchers in the outer corridors, with SMGs and Shotguns in the interior.
