we all know that in halo 2 and 3 that you can chose from a spartan solder or a covenant elite but has any one wanted to be a brute, jackal, or flood infected form. we should be able to have a choice what character we want to be in multiplayer. if any members from the bungie team read this please take this into consideration. and any one who thinks it is a good idea reply.

that's not original at all.

brutes are too big, and might not even be in the game at all. and nobody likes them except 23 people in the world. shields don't recharge.
jackals/grunts/drones/whatever are too small and have no energy shields.
floods have extra limbs to shoot, they'd die a lot more easily. and no shields.

I think there should be a Brute chieftain, Spartan, Elite, and ODST as playable multiplayer characters if this is bungies last halo game then they should go out with a bang

Really simple way to up the customization and will people stop with brutes can't have shields it doesn't matter put a sheild on a brute and everyone else and just make it like that it would be a great way to make game play more diverse

I think the only chance for this is a brute, since there about as strong as a spartan. slap on some shields and your there! I was thinking for the other classes, maybe when you kill them, they dont count as as many points as a spartan? But I wouldnt like this. Just spartans, elites, and brutes maybe.

I am a penguin. Every day I boogie on down to the water, and eat fish. Once, while fishing in the deepest depths, I saw great Cthulhu... And he said to me "Shine, to thine own self be true. They can't tell you what to do once you've gone guru." Also, I should tell you, "slide".

This has been going on since Halo 2 was announced, and yet, they keep coming up with this same unoriginal idea... Back in Halo 2's announcement days, there was more emphasis on wanting to play as grunts for some reason... But whatever, the answer will be as it always was, no.

well they can make the brutes, hunters, odst soldiers any characters that you want for multiplayer
have the same strength, speed and stealth so the normal game play rules don't exist almost.

so what i'm saying is that all the characters have the same strength as a spartan

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

What about the Elite combat forms, the ones with shield generators? They should also be about the same size. head hitbox wouldn't move too much either.
