"Welcome to the Greatest Show Unearthed"

Get the normal version instead. What's important is the game, not the controller.

heres an idea. Dont lose your first one. were you fired or laid off? If you were fired then theres nobody to blame for you not getting ODST but yourself.

Become a porter in a hospital. One week training course, then you're making money. Up to 900 a month, at least in the UK. Its' an easy job, no qualifications, you just need to push around beds and patients.

My friend took a job as a porter. Easy money.

And I quote. Hospital porter.

Hm. A hundred dollars you say? Please tell me you aren't trying to get that rediculous controller nonsense. For someone who wants the game, you're being awfully picky. You only really need sixty, and not even that if you trade in at Game Stop this weekend. At least in Texas, we're giving an additional 50% credit toward trade ins, and your Edge card with add another 10% to trade ins.

I'm a manager at Game Stop and, IMO, this is your best bet at getting ODST. You must have some games that just aren't really necessary.

I'd get a temp. job. I worked at a grocery store when I was in need for money. It covered me to enjoy myself for a while.

hello everyone,
I reserved Halo 3: ODST a while back in june. Unfortunatley I lost my job and can now no longer afford the game. I need the communities help, please suggest ideas on how i can earn $100 by September 22cd. And remember there are no dumb ideas.
In response to some recent posts, Im 18 and still in high school. I previously worked in landscaping. I start school monday so finding a new job is tough.

LERN 2 SAVES MONEY. What did you think would happen? You should have kept the money for the game separate so you wouldn't spend it. Then, you would still be able to buy the game despite losing your job....

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

No personal offense to you, but Gamestops trade-in pricing is a bad joke. I know people who have brought in 15 games and walked away with maybe $20 in store credit. None of the games were more than 2 years old, and none of them were sequential sports games (high depreciation). Shoot my stepfather went to bring back GRAW two weeks after he got it for christmas after it's release, and they only offered him $2.50 for it.

Anyway, for the OP: As it is with most looking for jobs in this tough time, the best thing to do is apply anywhere that you would be willing to work, be liberal with your hours (never say no weekends!) and make follow-up calls on the applications you've turned in. As some have mentioned, there are actually a ton of jobs out there, many of them are just not bank. But any PT job should get you at least $100 by your first paycheck, provided you get more than 10 hours a paycheck.

It's funny how everyone knows someone. Anyway, I've seen people walk away with eighty bucks for two games, now add the 50% (for this weekend) and the 10% edge card, that's a pretty good deal. So, I do apologize for your previous situation, but as a gamer myself, I know steals and deals in Game stop, the controller we're offering is pointless and just not worth it. But you find amazing deals if you shop at right times.

Finding a job quickly enough is much harder than finding two, maybe three games, taking them up to Game Stop this weekend, pre-ordering the standard edition and put all the credit toward ODST, and I bet you won't have to pay a single dime. No, I guarantee you.

I would love to see this guy walk away with ODST by trading in pointless games he doesn't need, and not a dime come out of his wallet. Now, you may find stores where Managers suck, and they aren't offering deals. But a customer walks into my store, and I give them the best credit they deserve. Now, we do have a system in check that tells us offering prices, but, sometimes, things happen and I accidently access older trade values.

I am a gamer first, I love Game Stop, but I'm the first to tell you that we can rip people off, but I rarely let that happen when I'm at my store. Listen, Azo, you message me with games your considering trading in, and I'll get the vaule before you even have to go up there, we have one universal price for all games, and I'll let you know what you're getting the best deal for, and what you shouldn't accept if you're dealing with a jerk.

I'll be on the rest of the afternoon, just remember, this big trade in blow out is only happening this weekend, so it's an ample opportunity to get ODST.
