Subject: 60$! Bungie WTF!

I stopped reading when it said " Bungie needs the money".

It's like everyone apparantly forgot that M$ exists. Blame it on Microsoft not Bungie, I mean after all they're the ones that set the prices, why else would alot of new games suddenly be changed from 40-50$ to 60$ back when it was just 40-50$?

My troll sense is tingling.

Notice he hasnt posted yet. OWNED LAWLS!!!

I wonder if he'll make a comeback that is already countered by our points, just like the guy "ODST is a SCAM". Still can't believe that's what he made his username.

First off, Bungie doesn't control the prices of X-Box 360 games, Microsoft does, so don't bite the dick of Bungie, because you can't afford a $60 game, which I doubt was a problem when Halo 3 came out or any other game you bought. The reason the game is $60 is because of the ODST disc and Halo 3: Mythic disc which consists of Mythic Map Pack 2.
The campaign of ODST is 6 hours long, but then you have to go threw looking for the Easter Eggs, skulls, and beat the campaign on different difficulties, which can add about 30+ hours of campaign. Then you have Fire Fight, and when its released The Reach: BETA.
Then you have the Halo 3:Mythic disc which is the replacement for the original Halo 3 disc which has all the maps so all the cheap scaps who didn't buy the original Heroic, Legendary, Cold Storage, and Mythic map packs then we will have all the dumb ass kids in the Halo 3 Forum stop posting threads complaining about how much Bungie are complete -blam!-s for not making all the maps free.
H3:Mythic also has Matchmaking, Forge and Custom Games, and Theater Mode.

So it is only reasonable for Halo 3:ODST to be $60.

*if there is anything I missed please tell me*

Yes there is, the campaign is 9+ not just 6 hours.

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

Wow Realizing That Halo:ODST is 60$! This seems to be an outrage. Who wants to buy an expansion of halo 3 that will only have about 4-6 hours of gameplay. Even with FireFight It still seems in my opinion to be too much. It doesn't even have anything new to bring to our beloved multiplayer that i and probably everyone loves(even when u lose). I understand that Bungie needs money but look at our Economy right now. Its a F***in mess, so maybe consideration for a drop in price. like 40$. Thats definately resonable plus many ppl are probably saving money not for ODST but for Modern Warfare 2 or Assasin's Creed 2 or even Left 4 Dead 2. So think bungie maybe drop in price will create more sales then with this 60$ scam. Sorry bungie we all love u but this is unfair to us with just a difficult time right now

it's bigger than Halo 3!

Halo 3 = 6-9 hour campaign
ODST = 9+ hour campaign

You need to do your research more.

Ironic? Halo 3: ODST doesn't come with Halo 3's campaign, and has been said to be not as long as Halo 3's.

And whether or not it's bigger then Halo 3 or not, is not an argument. Because we could take Halo 3, give you a bonus map, sell it at full price, and say ''It's bigger then Halo 3!'' and they wouldn't be lying.

Either way, Halo 3: ODST has more content then most other games these days, yet doesn't have more content then Halo 3. Honestly, we've been spoiled by Bungie with Halo 3; People take all of Halo 3's amazing and rich content for granted.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

So OP, if i'm understanding you correctly, you think it makes more sense to continuously shell out cash on an older game, then to pay full price for an all new title, that is loaded with extras?

Wow.

Don't ask Bungie why.
Ask Micro$oft why. Just because it's made by Bungie doesn't mean its price is decided by Bungie.

If you'd like to be as original as you think that you're being by posting this as a new thread, and not in an existing one...

Start complaining about how $60 is too good a price.

Then it'll get interesting.

No signature found. DO NOT Click here to change this.

Lets see, Assassin's Creed 2, has less gameplay, still $60. Madden NFL 10, Still shorter, and still $60, Prince of Persia, again.. shorter again... 60. Halo 3: ODST has a longer story, a whole new game mode that people have been asking for, a beta for a game that Bungie didn't even have to give you, and 3 new maps for Halo 3. I think it's worth it. I would pay 70-80 for the game alone.
