  • 08.21.2009 6:23 PM PDT

  • 08.21.2009 6:23 PM PDT

Known by some, but not by all.
Soffish: Do not eat!
TWP Assistant Director.

Ya know I really think he will. No time travel. Showing the training etc. Yes I think he will.

Yes but,
In the legndary ending Its Shows a planet which looks exactly like reach,
and in reach's trailer has neally the exact angle as the ending.
It could be possible its red team?
Or John lands and finds lost spartans who knows with bungie?

The planets have different colored suns.

It depends on when Reach takes place. Before Halo 1, most likely won't see the Chief. Between Halo 1 and 2, quite likely.

I wish I was still legendary.

Only in two circumstances:

1. we fight the space battles above reach as well, with the objective being 'destroy the data crystal'.

2. The game starts a few years earlier.

Correct me if i'm wrong But,
Suns can turn blue near the end of the cycle,
it could be before or after,

Agreed, azliand

No, it just shows heat. Our sun will still be yellow when it expands.

FAIL! They were fleeing Reach in the beginning of Halo 1! I think. The Battle of Reach had just ended and they were running for their lives.

Or am I wrong?

Orphan's right. Noob Eater, consider rereading the books. Spartans were around just before the Human-Covenant War.

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

Is he going to be? Hm, I'll give you two answers,

What everyone thinks is going to happen: Yes, he will appear in the game as a playable character. The would be the general HOPE and or ASSUMPTION by the general population.

What everyone knows: Bungie has NOT stated the Master Chief will be a playable character or even appear in the game.

Blue Suns are signal that they are a Dwarf Star, very young, Yellow sun Middle aged, red sun old.

when our sun expands it will turn into a red giant, presumably destroying the first three planets...US....so therefore it will not stay yellow but turn a rusty red...but there i go again saying things that may be wrong

Uh... dwarf stars are in their final throws. Also explain why there are Blue Giants.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Now selling HHDDVVDDBVDs. HD DVDs, but with better marketing.

The stages of a suns life are dependant on what element is used in the fusion reaction which fuels them.

Most of a stars life is lived when it is burning hydrogen in the reaction of fusion. Hydrogen is the simplest element and the most abundant in the universe, therefore it is a stars main source of fuel. When the hydrogen in a star is used up it begins to burn heavier and heavier elements which change its color, as different elements burn differently. The fussion reaction applies an outward force because elements that are stable will resist an action to connect them. The way to get them to touch is by a greater inward force such as the massive gravitational force exerted by the mass of the star. Once the hydrogen fussion stops the force inward increases allowing for fussions of higher degree elements and eventually cascades to a point where the star collapses on itself once it runs out of fuel, Either resulting in a dwarf star or a super-nova.

It took me awhile to type, so this may have already been resolved.

I think the whole lengendary ending was just to give us a hint of what was to come (halo Reach)

it didnt mean cheif was going to be there or any time travel, just a hint that halo franchise hadnt ended

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

He was in space during the battle on Reach, in orbit around it with Linda and James. On Reach, all the other Spartan IIs were fighting, we will likely be one of them.
