I haven't really heard anything about what changes from wave to wave. From what I hear there isn't an end to firefight. So what happens after wave 100? or 1000? Do the enemies get more powerful and take less damage (like in GOW2)? Will wave 1000 be hundreds of brute chieftans and golden hunters?

I was also wondering if it was possible to actually kill the Phantoms before they drop enemies. (example: Missile Pod, Rocket Launcher, etc.)

And another thing have

***SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!***

Engineers been confirmed in firefight?
EDIT: Never mind they will be. This proves it.

well i think each set in the wave(might be other way around) has random enemys then at the end, i know for a fact they have the grunt bonus round. i would think that later waves had more higher level enemys.

as for phantom killing, if you can find the right explosives, i dont see why not.

Okay cool. The reason I asked about the Phantom thing was because I think that would be awesome. It should give you all the points for all the enemies in the Phantom. That would also save you time.

Hey Bob, what are those things jumping across the rooftops like majestic warriors dressed as Spartans with their heads on fire?

Oh, that's just the Bungie ninjas. Mess with them and they'll bring a hammer down on your head that's so big, they have to keep it on Jupiter 'cause it won't fit on Earth.

What the -BLAM!- is an Engineer?????

Well...I have been away from the site for about a week...it feels weird to be in the uninformed guy's shoes. So, I would like to know, what is an Engineer.

Click here it will explain what they are. They are confirmed to be in ODST. They haven't been in Halo 1, 2, or 3. They were in Halo Wars and that's it. They were supposed to be in Halo: CE.

"They don't want to hurt you. The Brutes are making them do it."
Awesome pic. Can't really read the description, but the quote in the bottom right is awesome.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I always thought people were talkin about these guys when they said engineers

It may be confirmed, but that picture looks sketchy.

Firefight is split into 3 things. A set, a round, and a wave.

Each round consist of 5 waves, after this the survivors will be granted health, lives ammo, etc.

Each set consist of 3 rounds, after a set another skull will be added. So while you in the first set has though luck on, enemys will use a lot of grenades, next set you'll have that plus, let's say famine will be turned on, meaning you'll have a lot less ammo to use. (As you might have noticed I'm not familiar with the order skulls are turned on)

i think the waves might change like in gears 2s horde, wipe out all enimies and the next wave begins

Nothing different, but there will be skulls activated over sets. And every 5 wave you get a couple o' Chieftains.

Myeah, and Tough Luck makes the dodge chance on the AI go up. Meaning they're gonna dodge more PP shots and 'nades and stuff like that.
