Subject: send us a demo of fire fight

Get in the flask!

this is for all NON american citizens... since there is this truck goen around america, where is our preview??? huh??? feeling kinda left out all the way over here in australia... i mean alot of americans complain we get it first (by 12 hours) but come on... you guys have a chance to play it days b4 we even get to start. as a quote said in another forum 'HOW IS THAT FAIR?' there was that warthog event or what ever in hamo island but that wont satify the odst needs of other countries.

so just a suggestion, why not make a demo for fire fight and put it in the australian or xbox world mag, though make a demo for every country so the cd works...

p.s i know they said 'we arnt making a demo' but this is just a question

thoughts?

Gears of war 3 looks amazing i can't wait for halo 4 master chief is a pretty cool guy he kills aliens and doesn't afraid of anything

you know why cause xbox 360 is an american consule also bungie is an american company. but i think it better if we don't get one cause then we won't be so desperate for it wait for the game it self

The difference in number of plays between a travelling truck and a demo available to literally anyone in the selected area is huge.

Be patient.

  • 08.22.2009 3:12 AM PDT

you should download other demos, like the most popular one right now is the lost planet 2 demo ( so much fun )

And also it would be too difficult to send a demo over here, just wait until the game comes out then you won't be like, eh w/e i've played this before.

I am a Halo 3 Failure.

The thing is, it's not really that big of an demo, dude. Seriously, there are 22 events, and these events are only in 13 different states, four of them are in California, three in Texas, two in Tennessee, and two in Pennsylvania. Not to mention that it goes from the West Coast to the East Coast, and by the time it makes it to Texas from Washington, schools have already started, and this isn't just on the weekends either, it's in the weekday, and for only a couple of hours for one day. It's not a huge opening, not a lot of people are going to make it, either, and the last event is three days before ODST's release date.

You're not missing much.

Get in the flask!

it would be in a mag so people would have to technically pay for the demo soo the diference is
truck = free
demo = $16.95

its just annoying that not only do u have comicon and e3 to play it at but now there is a truck goen around for all of you... dont u just see the little bit of unfairness

i know this sounds like im winging and all... but in all fairness i think we should get some thing like i dont care if its one level of fire fight and u only get a 15 min period to play it but its better than nothing

and just so every one knows i thought that it should have been a world release at the same time instead of the time dif

It makes more sense to put everything in the US, more gamers live there compared to any other country, if Australia had a larger gaming community then possibly they would put a major convention on it, but right now putting everything in America (except Games Con) is financially better, and at the end of the day, making the small population of Australian gamers happy isn't going to put food on the table.

dude it would be worth them doen it... im telling you now, if they televised it made the tickets $35 dollars and was over 3 days every one from the entier east coast would come to sydney and i mean even people from queensland (australias upper most northeast state) would travel down just for it so atleast 1-2 mill would show

Why just you? Halo is an american made franchise, why should you benefit from it more than us? Your logic doesnt make any sense at all.

haha i knew there would be one of you trolling the forums... ok a thing called sharing u learn it when ur 3 years old when u go to pre school. and then my next counter argument is why should u benefit from medicine developed in asia ???? and once again the simple answer is sharing just cos u make it doesnt mean u cant help out others.

btw u didnt produce it... i bet alot of smart asian made it (not being racist just point out they are very good with numbers), well the programing anyway. i dont have anything against america just the people like you who think they deserve everything (and that wasnt what this post was made for, it was made for the entier population of the world)

Yeah, it's an American franchise. It's got other people from other countries working on it too, but it's primarily American. Sorry, but the States is closer to home, and so it gets priority.

BUT.

You will, hey wait! Didn't you wanna hear what you'd get first!"

1. Your point states that we should get the demo as well. Think about what you're about to say.
2. Halo is an American franchise as of this moment.
3. Spellchecker.

What about Germany? I'm not sure if it is still going on, but they were there with firefight at GamesCon.

And really, they aren't coming anywhere close to me either. Just wait it out until the 22nd. That's what all of us will be doing.

  • 08.22.2009 5:20 AM PDT

I am from Australia (though we have to remember other countries are in the same position), but even I am growing tired of this. Be happy we get it early mmkay.=)

And there was a preview where you could play down in Sydney. Also the Warthog was there. Stupid competition >=(
