Subject: Acknowledgment Lights

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

The Service Tags are kind of like Acknowledgment lights... they behave similarly if you think about it... The only difference is the players don't control the blinking.

Those only change colors when you shoot or get shot. This would be a tiny square box in the corner with the players service tag and it would light up when you use it.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

The acknowledgment lights in Spartan helmets are used as an alternative to saying "Aye Aye, sir" over the radio. That's all they are. They aren't used for tactics.

Even in terrorist hunt in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 where tactics are the number one priority, people fail to use them on a regular basis. The truth is, people don't like cooperating with strangers because they don't trust the strangers. When was the last time you heard an entire team in Halo 3 matchmaking cooperating under the command of one particular player?

Technically its easier to do instead of saying okay if a lot of people were talking at once and people cant hear you.

Also known as Entropy91
Black Water Ops representative.
See you on the battlefield.

It'd be a cool idea for campaign, but I wouldn't use it in multiplayer, since a mic works just as well.
